Tie Down Automation: Mobile Home Foundation Strut Manufacturing Tie Down 2023-05-12 | In an effort to meet increased demand from Tie Down’s Manufactured Housing division, Tie Down’s Engineering Team redesigned the foundation struts to eliminate welding and high VOC painting of zinc primer. This redesign allowed tie down to revaluate its manufacturing requirements and thus began collaborating with an automation provider to develop a fully automated production line. Once this new system is fully deployed in production, the previous welding and labor resources used can be reallocated to more high value production tasks.
