Definitely very beatable, but doing 2x2 - 8x8 in under 10 minutes is a pretty crazy thought to me. Back when I started cubing in 2009 the only relay videos were of Yu Nakajima doing 2x2 - 7x7 in under 10 minutes, which was legendary. Now it's possible to do 2x2 - 8x8 in the same time.

Great example of how important fluidity is in a solve. Maxs high TPS and non stop turning are what allow his centers/3x3 stage to be so fast without utilizing a lot of tricks. This joined with his impressive edge selection and TPS during eges stage make for the fastest solve of all time.
