9. ONE MINUTE TRIBUTE—9/11 for four percussionists (2002) 1:00

The Lehman Percussionists, Bronx, NY; Gheorghe Costinescu, conductor

The work was composed for the 9/11/2001 Remembrance that took place on the Lehman College Campus/CUNY, Bronx, New York, on 9/11/2002. It was performed by the Lehman Percussionists conducted by the composer. Among the various percussion instruments used, the side drum emerges with a leading pattern that confers the piece a rather solemn, ceremonial character.
