2-axis Joystick: amzn.to/2Pt7uN2
Potentiometer (optional): amzn.to/2YUyU1g
Push-to-make switch (Some joysticks have this built in, but its easier to control when its seperate: amzn.to/38Q26Lp)

Hobby Components:
4* M2 Servo Ball-links: amzn.to/2M6Pg1Q
2* 2mm Pushrod Connector Linkages: amzn.to/2M3brpy (Not strictly necessary, you could use 2 ball links instead)
Machining Stuff - Check the schematics in the machining step to see all the components which need machining, it also has a rough guide to the lengths of stock you could start with. You might want some margin for errors, but roughly speaking you'll need:
140mm of 3mm diameter brass rod (plus an additional 100mm if you want to try bending the 3mm brass to make the x-axis pushrod - I'd recommend you don't as its very difficult to do accurately)
50mm of 5mm diameter brass rod
170mm of 4mm diameter aluminium rod
120mm of 3mm diameter aluminium rod
100mm of 2mm brass rod (or a bike spoke as I did!) if not making the 3mm x-axis pushrodDownloads:

Supplies:
Joystick - either use one of those cheap and nasty unbranded ones that come in arduino starter kits (amzn.to/2rL5WVl: check images to see if you might already have one) or use a Parallax Inc 2-Axis Joystick Module if you want a better response: parallax.com/product/27800
Push-to-make switch - the controller is designed to use one of these amzn.to/33M5zXI but you could probably make any small cylindrical switch fit.
10k Potentiometer - designed to use these amzn.to/35Yy6ed but again, a similar sized one is likely to fit with some adjustments.
Screws: A small kit like this should do if you don't already have these lying about: amzn.to/2OJQt0M
4* M3 x 4/5/6mm screws (only if using cheap joystick)
4* M2 x 4/6/8mm screws (only if using parallax joystick)
4* M3 x 8/10/12mm screws
6+ core wire with an outer diameter of around 4.5mm/5AWG: amzn.to/34K7HAv - although realistically you can use whatever cable you want!
(optional) A cable grommet for a 6.5mm hole and 4.5mm wire: amzn.to/2OIU7HZ

6* 10mm M2 screws
6* MG90s servo screws (these come with the servos: amzn.to/33VfIlF)
4* M2 Servo Ball-links: amzn.to/2Kq8fDK
4* M2 x 25mm Pushrod Connectors: amzn.to/32XQXEt (keep in mind this is just 2mm threaded bar - you could always cut down a 25mm bolt or some plain threaded rod)
Arduino Uno: amzn.to/2XoMolo (or anything that can accept three analogue signals, one digital and communicate through SDA/SCL ports)
Adafruit PCA9685 16-Channel Servo Driver: amzn.to/2NQeNNT

Parts and Materials needed for this project:
3D Printer Filament: PLA is fine although I'd recommend you use a good brand because some parts are quite small and fragile. ABS is good for making realistic eyes but not necessary.
6x SG90 Micro Servos: amzn.to/2pG3crm
Various M2 and M3 screws although any screws roughly that size should work ok. A kit like this:amzn.to/2JOafVQ should cover you.
Arduino: This design was tested using a genuine Uno, but it's likely that any board which has SDA/SCL pins, 3 analogue inputs and a digital input will work. Arduino Uno: amzn.to/2JTs1Hs
Servo Driver Board: I opted for a 16 channel PWM driver board from Adafruit: amzn.to/2JPOzsx
5V Power Supply, around 4A is more than enough. Here is mine (http://tiny.cc/is4cdz)
A female DC power jack to match your power supply, to be soldered to the servo driver board
Jumper Cables: amzn.to/2PNPHAQ
Joystick: amzn.to/2pKWX5A
Potentiometer (10k ohms is generally a good value to use: amzn.to/2NgDF0S)
Momentary switch(Some joysticks have this built in, but its easier to control when its seperate: amzn.to/36yzCov)
10k Resistor: amzn.to/2NBOjyo

Parts and Materials needed for this project:
White 3D printing filament - ABS is recommended but PLA is fine.
Roughly 500ml of casting silicone: amzn.to/2JbMYx0
A very small amount of clear casting resin: amzn.to/32CjBvo
Some small screws - M2 x 10mm-20mm : amzn.to/2JcftdQ (but any similar size should work fine)
Acrylic paints
Red cotton thread
Superglue
Airbrush (optional)

As my 3rd year project for the University of Hull, I am designing and building a fully 3D-printed and arduino controlled bionic hand. As a "Biomimetic" (closely imitates real-life) mechatronic hand, it has 23 degrees of freedom and uses a physical controller in order to replicate the high degree of precision in a real human hand.

In this video I remove the old grille cloth (which was actually just a subbuteo pitch!) and replace it with a more sensible open weave one, which I dyed myself for lack of the colour I wanted in Boyes. I also restored the "HOHNER" logo and the "VERDI III".
This project will cover topics such as CAD design in Solidworks, 3D printing, arduino programming/coding and post processing of 3D printed parts.

I found this Hohner Verdi III Accordion in unplayable state, this project series documents my amateur restoration in every detail from tuning and reed servicing to setting rhinestones.
This project will cover topics such as CAD design in Solidworks, 3D printing, arduino programming/coding and post processing of 3D printed parts.
In this video I clean and repair the cracks in the keyboard section, repaint, clean and even machine a decorative brass axle rod.

You can get the majority of the parts from an arduino starter kit like this: amzn.to/31Cj4bw although you'll need to buy some more servos (amzn.to/2P7R5ha). If you need to buy anything individually, check the following list:
Materials and Components used in this project:
Any Arduino board that can support 4 servos (check to make sure it has at least 4 PWM pins, most do) I used an Arduino Uno: amzn.to/2W2cPfT
4x SG90 micro servos: amzn.to/2W3ON4j
Joystick: amzn.to/2N0CGRk
Potentiometer (10k ohms is generally a good value to use: amzn.to/2o63ze6)
Push-to-make switch (Some joysticks have this built in, but its easier to control when its seperate: amzn.to/35UM55G)
220 Ohm resistor: amzn.to/2JcjaAe
Jumper Cables: amzn.to/2MCf9XQ
2 x M3 bolts or similar: amzn.to/33SsHEA
Stiff Wire (I used packaging wire)
Breadboard
3mm Universal Joint (This is the only part that isn't as easy to find, I bought them from this link:https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5pcs-Rc-Boat-Stai... )

In this series, I will be building a single propeller spherical drone which will be controlled via an Arduino. I have designed this drone in Solidworks 3D CAD software and I will be making all of the files available to my viewers, meaning that you can build your own drone, just the same as mine.
The end goal for this project is to have an autonomous drone capable of lighting an area without any user input - it will follow a person around and, with several LEDs, it will light their way. For those of you who are into Skyrim, it will resemble the Candlelight spell. You could think of it as real life Skyrim replica of the spell!
This project will involve designing the entire system and then having laser cutting and 3D printing done, I will also be walking viewers through the programming and assembly.
