The design started from scratch and after a couple of sketches, the build looked promising in every aspect of styling, performance and reliability. Fabrication began with the front & rear fenders mounted onto a slightly bigger telescopic forks borrowed from the latest Thunderbird. The tank had to be built from scratch to match the design and incorporate curves, lines while still being able to accommodate about 12L of fuel. The saddle had to flow from the tank stay up (comfortable and stylish) with made to order springs for a plush yet sturdy recoil for longer rides. The side shields being aesthetic to the finish, house all of the electrical components neatly concealed at designated spaces giving the motorcycle a very clean & neat appearance. The handle bars were fabricated to specification to match the rider's seating position reach and ride comfort. The control switches & cables strategically routed to minimize clutter. A single mounted speedometer is placed off-set. The colour scheme had to be black with parts of white on the tank & a tan outline to match the leather saddle. While the bike itself is black matte, the chrome surfaces needed to be brushed. To enhance the overall appeal, the paint itself has a soft silky touch & little stars that reflect light. The bike has reduced weight, carefully balanced, reduced vibration and tuned to give a superb handling, power and ride comfort.
