Uploading the entire bank will overwrite all existing presets in the selected bank. On the other hand, uploading presets individually offers more flexibility. You can save new presets without erasing the previous ones, and you can arrange them to suit your preferences.At the time of releasing this bank, the latest app version is 2.6.7, and the firmware version is 1.4.6. During bank upload testing, all presets from 01 to 49 uploaded successfully. However, the very first preset (00) did not upload automatically and remained empty/init. You should upload the preset to this slot manually. Another issue - titles of the presets on the synth. I figured out how to attach titles to the presets on the device. However, as soon as I send a title to the synth, a preset loses some settings/modulations. I recover the settings, save the preset, and it loses the title. As a result, you can see the titles of the syx-files, but you won't see the titles on the synth. The order of the presets inside my bank corresponds to the order inside the folder with the files. I don't think it's a crucial thing, but I must warn you. Additionally, transposition during playback can be used to create progressions.Moog Mother-32 doesn't have the import/export feature. Tuning is an important part of the final result, but it’s quite difficult to depict the settings of oscillators frequencies and sequencer knobs as they are quite small, and even a tiny movement may shift the pitch. I tried to be as accurate as possible to draw these settings (the way they play in the audio examples), but don’t be upset if you can’t recreate the same melody. You may spend some time to catch the same melody, or you may use the settings as a starting point for your own melodic or percussive lines. I used an external USB clock from Ableton Live. When external clock is used, TEMPO knob has no effect, so I left its value on some default position. Only tempo division (SCALE) changes the playback. If you use EDGE as a master clock device, change TEMPO to your taste.🔔 The video contains demo tracks featuring these presets. I've added other samples, drums and pads, to create a complete musical context. The EDGE sequences can be quite complex, producing various timbres at once, like bass and percussion. This range is best suited for bass lines. However, you may transpose them to octaves higher to create melodic lines. You can also adjust the root note in semitones using the onboard keyboard to fit any scale. Additionally, transposition during playback can be used to create progressions, as demonstrated in some examples in my video demo.Moog Mother-32 doesn't have the import/export feature. Techno is just the first thing comes in my mind when I tweak and listen to EDGE. Analog phatness, experimental sounds, huge basses, vivid leads, freaky sequences, electronic drums, generative-fx patches work nicely not only in techno, they will decorate any track where a decent sound design is welcome. The soundset is presented in PDF format. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance. If you make all the settings consciously and try the things mentioned in the notes, you will learn a lot about the synth and discover its true depth. There are audio examples of all patches inside the folder with the soundset. To recreate these patches, you need up to 5 patch cords. I used an external USB clock from Ableton Live. When external clock is used, TEMPO knob has no effect, so I left its value on some default position. Only tempo division (SCALE) changes the playback. If you use EDGE as a master clock device, change TEMPO to your taste.Generative patches (45-50) are made with the internal clock. These patches create highly experimental and non-repetitive sounds with a portion of randomness. Their 'torn' movement prevents synchronization with external tracks. However, rather than a disadvantage, this glitchy and unpredictable nature can enhance any music where sound design is a key element. Experiment with them using reverb or delay.Please note that these patches are designed for internal clock use only and may not function correctly when connected to an external clock via the ADV/CLOCK input.You'll now listen to demo tracks featuring these presets. I've added other samples like drums, chords, and pads to create a complete musical context. The EDGE sequences can be quite complex, producing various timbres at once, like bass and percussion.
