Last chance, you sure??-----In the first few key frames, the background is pink and blue. The blue symbolises trust and also indicates reliability and confidence. The pink, very obviously, symbolises love and playfulness. These two colours simply give the impression that the first character on screen, character A, has a lot of passion and confidence for what she does, and also when the second character, character B comes on screen we can see that she also relies and trusts him. When the second character comes on screen, the background is red and purple. The red symbolises strength and action and also suggests danger. The purple quite simply implies that character B is royalty and a mystery since his intentions are hidden in the beginning. Character B is based on Blue Jays, which are known for their mean behaviour. They are masters at mimicking which could imply that character B is manipulative. He could be spouting lies and mimicking what character A wants to hear to inevitably manipulate her into falling into his trap.In the hands scene, the screen flashes red and yellow. It’s mostly red which symbolises danger, but when the yellow flashes in, it both supports character B’s deception and symbolises character A’s happiness for a situation she fell foolishly for.When character A is back on screen again, the background is black with green in the centre. The black implies depression and sadness, but also protection and elegance. The green symbolises judgement and safety. Her feelings towards the current situation are tough and complicated; she is in despair because she feels trapped (the string holding her up like a puppet implies this) and she might be judging herself for falling into that trap, but also she knows it isn’t going to get worse and she feels safe somehow.The second half of the animation consists of a sort of replay of the event and coloured eyes which once again symbolise many points in her story. The eyes opening simply suggests that she is aware of what is happening, whether this be when she looks back at what happened or if she is aware in real-time, but that is up for discussion like the majority of the animation. The first eye, blue, symbolises peace, confidence, and reliability; the second eye, red, symbolises action, passion and danger, as well as anger; the third eye, grey, symbolises maturity and being unemotional, perhaps she has come to terms with what has happened. This repeats twice, implying that maybe this situation has happened more than once to character A.
