Ultra-rare French cinema lenses // Angenieux 18.5 + 24 // Ursa 12K Daniel Kuberek 2022-11-08 | Angenieux 18.5 and 24 are two vintage Retrofocus lenses. The 18.5 was a favourite of Orson Welles, while the 24 is a mystery.Both are softer, low contrast lenses with cooler rendering.Both are generally found in Cameflex mount which requires rehousing for modern applications, but up until recently I've owned both in extremely rare Arri Standard mount; and was able to shoot with them on a Blackmagic Ursa 12K and Arri Alexa Mini.
