Fortress Disk Padlock - SPPd Git Pickd 2015-11-22 | Cheap Fortress (Master Lock) Disk Lock picked opened nice and quick. Decent lock for beginners, though the tension needed for the core can be a bit difficult to get right.

Timing for Rake and SPP started with insertion of the pick (tension wrench placement not timed) and ended with an open.

American 5200 Series Padlock - Picked?? Git Pickd 2015-11-06 | When i received this lock in the mail, I was ecstatic. I bust out my short hook and tension wrench and went to town. I soon found that the keyway was a little tight, and so i tried my small half diamond pick that is shown in the video. I slid it all the way to the back like i normally do when starting a pick, and applied tension and the lock opened without moving the pick. i thought the the pins hadn't dropped from when i had the key inserted, or maybe that i didn't reset the core all the way from when i had it open last. So, i tried it again, and had the same results within seconds. I pulled out the key and found to my surprise that the bitting on the key matched almost exactly the profile of the small half diamond pick when i rest it on the right hand side warding of the keyway.

Abus 83/45 Series Z w/ 6 pin Schlage C Core - Picked and Gutted Git Pickd 2015-10-18 | This is an Abus 83AL/45 Series Z which I configured with 6 pin stacks, though the key looks to be for 5 pins. This lock can be configured for key retaining or non-key retaining via the placement of the Abus patented Z-bar which you can see in the video. Ace Hardware Rekeyable (Kwikset) Padlock - SPPd and gutted Git Pickd 2015-10-11 | Ace makes some pretty nice locks with good tolerances. Fun as hell to pick with it's spool security pins. This particular lock is rekeyable to either a 5 or 6 pin configuration, with 5 pin config being the default out of the package. So you can pin it up to match your existing kwikset locks (or other locks from manufacturers that use the kwikset keyway) at home.Interested in starting Lockpicking / Locksport as a hobby? Ace Maximum Security Padlock - SPPd and (almost) gutted Git Pickd 2015-09-28 | Went to Ace hardware since I had received a tip that Ace sells some pretty good padlocks that are similar in quality to the old American Lock Company's locks prior to Master Lock buying them out. I was a bit disappointed to only find 5 pin stacks in the lock, though the packaging said 6 - but this is a great heavy duty padlock chock full of security pins. Note: This was supposed to be a "picked and gutted" video, but i forgot to remove 3 of the 5 springs for display. Live and learn.
