Fallout 4 NO MODS Decorating - Little Books Benson Yee 2023-12-13 | Decorating with found objects in "Fallout 4" is a part of the No Mods settlement building journey, but unfortunately most Burnt Books, Textbooks and Overdue Books you find in the Wasteland are too big to fit in bookshelves vertically. Recently I found books that are actually smaller than the regular ones, allowing you to place them on shelves vertically! Check out this video to see them and where I got them!I am currently using the "Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition" with no mods installed. Botcon 1998 Script Reading (with Introduction by Ben Yee) Benson Yee 2023-10-11 | On June 19 and 20, 1998 Transformers fans gathered in Anaheim, CA for Botcon 1998. One of the events held at this convention was a script reading by an all star cast of talent. Bob Forward (Beast Wars Transformers Story Editor) wrote the script. Vince DiCola provided music and sound effects while "Beast Wars" actors Garry Chalk, David Kaye, Scott McNeil and Doug Parker stood alongside their director Susan Blu to act out the fun and action packed tale which featured lots of in-jokes and silliness.I was fortunate enough to be a tiny part of this script reading and I recently unearthed my VHS copy of the event. Please enjoy this video of the event with an introduction by yours truly.Note: Ben's World of Transformers claims no ownership over the video of the actual script reading itself. The VHS was provided to me by the owners of Botcon at the time as a courtesy since I was involved. Botcon 2023 Beast Wars Transformers Panel (with Venus Terzo, Sue Blu, Scott McNeil & Garry Chalk) Benson Yee 2023-08-28 | One of the feature panels at Botcon 2023 was a reunion of key members of the "Beast Wars Transformers" cast. In attendance were (from left to right): Venus Terzo (Blackarachnia), Sue Blu (Director and voice of Transmutate and Una), Scott McNeil (best known as Dinobot, Rattrap and Silverbolt) and Garry Chalk (Optimus Primal). During this panel the "Beast Wars" veterans discussed their time on the show, the craft of acting and directing along with some thoughts on the modern day "Transformers" shows.Notes:*The panel room took a while to fill up because the organizers needed to find spots for everyone. I have cut that part out (this is why Scott comments on everyone being seated).*There was a raffle drawing at the end. I have cut that out as well.

Botcon 2023 Sue Blu Panel (Transformers G1, Beast Wars, Animated and Beyond) Benson Yee 2023-08-27 | Susan Blu (sometimes credited as Sue Blu) was the voice of Arcee in the original "Generation One" cartoon and would later transition into directing with "Beast Wars Transformers". She would eventually play a different version of Arcee in "Transformers: Animated". She also has an extensive career beyond "Transformers" having worked on shows including "Jem", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "The Smurfs".Blu held a solo panel at Botcon 2023 on Friday, August 25th. She discussed her time on both "Generation One" and "Beast Wars" along with interesting insights into voice acting and directing as an art form. Blu is "Transformers" royalty and this was wonderful opportunity to learn about her extensive career.
Botcon 2023 Bob Budiansky and Simon Furman Panel Benson Yee 2023-08-27 | In the 1980's, two Marvel writers would create the fiction that decades of "Transformers" stories would be based on. In the United States, Bob Budiansky wrote the monthly Marvel "Transformers" title and was responsible for many of the character personalities and fiction that would serve as the foundation of "Transformers" lore. In the UK, writer Simon Furman wrote a separate set of stories that weaved in and out of the events of the US title. In time, Furman would take over the US title from Budiansky.On August 25 at Botcon 2023 both writers provide a history of where their adventure with "Transformers" started and where it went during their time as part of the franchise.Please note: Budiansky and Furman held two panels during Botcon 2023, one on August 25 and another on the 26th. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel comes to New York City (April 2023) Benson Yee 2023-04-19 | On April 14, 2023 Amazon Studios celebrated the final season of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" with an event that spanned ten blocks along New York City's famous Fifth Avenue. A pink carpet stretched from 46 to 54 street along with large "Wonderful" signs with the centerpiece being a display of costumes, retro cars and more at Saks Fifth Avenue. There was even an hourly dance number! Along the route were several photo ops that celebrated different seasons of the Amazon series.Giveaways included a Mrs. Maisel branded cocktail kit, lipstick case, Revlon pink lipstick and a pink "black and white" cookie! The Last of Us Premiere Event by HBO in New York City Benson Yee 2023-01-13 | On January 12, 2023 HBO held a preview screening of the first episode of "The Last of Us". Based on the hit Naughty Dog/Sony game from 2013, the series stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. Anna Torv stars as Tess and Merle Dandridge reprises her role of Marlene from the game. Other actors include Melanie Lynskey, Nick Offerman and original game stars Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson playing different roles.This premiere took place at the Angelika Film Center in New York City. The entire theater was rented out and dressed up as a post-apocalyptic headquarters of the Fireflies, a faction seeking to overthrow the fascist FEDRA government. Transformers Generations Selects Magnificus Benson Yee 2022-10-31 | The Transformers Generations Selects is a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring special edition characters, including the new Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Magnificus action figure. Like all Transformers Generations Selects, Magnificus can’t be found in the main Transformers Generations toy line. This new figure is based on the original e-Hobby exclusive Magnificus action figure released in 2005 and can convert from robot to microscope mode in 18 steps, while also including a blaster accessory that can attach in both modes.

Transformers EarthSpark Panel at New York Comic-Con 2022 Benson Yee 2022-10-12 | On October 9, 2022, Paramount+ held a panel at New York Comic-Con featuring the upcoming "Transformers EarthSpark" cartoon series. Panelists included Diedrich Bader (Mandroid), Cissy Jones (Elita-1), Zion Broadnax (Mo), Sydney Mikayla (Robby), Ant Ward (Executive Producer) and Dale Malinowski (Co-Executive Producer). A few minutes are missing at the beginning as I was getting my laptop set up for a series of live tweets from the event which you can read @BWTF_Ben. Apologies for the camera moving at points in the video. The phone recording the session had to be passed from person to person for a variety of reasons. Fallout 4: Somerville Place Settlement Tour (NO MODS) Benson Yee 2022-09-23 | Following the defeat of the Institute, the Sole Survivor sought out allies to help rebuild the Commonwealth. Among them was Mother Isolde from the Crater of Atom. Forming an unlikely alliance between the Minutemen and the Children of Atom, the two groups worked with the family at Somerville Place to create a settlement that would serve as a waypoint between the Commonwealth and the Glowing Sea.This build was done using on a PS5 using the "Fallout 4: Game of the Year" edition with no building mods. Macys Escalator Herald Square (May 2022) Benson Yee 2022-08-31 | Between 1920 and 1930 Otis Elevator installed wooden escalators at the flagship Macy's location in Herald Square, New York City. Many of these have since been replaced but a few remain. They are made of oak and ash wood (but the internal mechanisms have been upgraded over the years). He has a bit of a workaround, but I have found that this varies widely depending on where you are. At County Crossing (where this build takes place) I have no issues doing it, but at say Coastal Cottage or Tenpines it does not snap quite like that (or maybe I needed to fiddle more). The pillar/camp fire glitch is a perfectly good alternative to this if you can't get it to snap. Thanks Sheck for the heads up on this!

Transformers Generations Legacy Hero is Born Set Reveal Benson Yee 2022-07-22 | On July 21, 2022 Hasbro revealed the "Hero is Born" set at San Diego Comic-Con. This two pack features Alpha Trion (a redeco and retool of "Studio Series" Scourge") and Orion Pax (a redeco and retool of "Studio Series" Kup) based on the G1 episode "War Dawn". The set also includes Vector Sigma and the Key to Vector Sigma! The set will cost $66.99 with a release date of November 1, 2022.
