It is no replacement for Story Progression. MC Command Center is still needed for a full SP experience. But it wasn't as intrusive as I thought it would be, and you can ignore many of the features if you don't want to use them. EVIL SIMS COMPARED! Sims 1 vs. Sims 2 vs. Sims 3 vs. Sims 4 Pleasant Sims 2021-11-09 | In this video, I'm comparing EVIL SIMS in The Sims vs. The Sims 2 vs. The Sims 3 vs. The Sims 4. While we didn't have a real "evil" trait until Sims 3, it was still possible to make mean/grouchy Sims in the first two games. But once The Sims started using personality traits instead of points, Evil Sims became much more fun to play!Which one is your favorite? Mine has to be Sims 3. Evil Sims in the third game just feel so...evil. They're so much fun to play and have a lot of autonomous and unique evil behaviors. Sims 4 has a few fun things too, but in my opinion the Evil Sims in TS4 just can't live up to The Sims 3 version. PlantSim Family of Riverblossom Hills (Sims 2 Lore & Stories) Pleasant Sims 2021-09-21 | In this Sims 2 Lore & Stories video, we're exploring the Greenman Family - the PlantSims of Riverblossom Hills. This neighborhood was introduced with the Seasons expansion and provides many interesting stories. Most of the households are interconnected, which makes for fun neighborhood-wide gameplay. The Greenman family consists of Jason Greenman, his wife Rose (a PlantSim) and their baby Daisy (also a PlantSim). Jason discovered a secret society of PlantSims living in the mountains while hiking with his brother Gabe. He fell in love with Rose and she returned with him to become his wife. Now, he wants to become a Plant Sim too! Then there's the story of his brother Gabe and his ex-wife, who left him to become a Dread Pirate. Riverblossom Hills has a lot of drama. I Made a Genderbent Sims 4 Save File (All Base Game Sims) Pleasant Sims 2021-09-15 | I made a Genderbent Sims 4 Save File! All Sims in the Base Game - from the Goths to the Calientes - have their genders and names reversed to the opposite gender. Bob Pancakes has become Betty Pancakes and Don Lothario is now Donna Lothario. I got the idea to do this from a viewer, who suggested I make a save similar to my Sims 2 Fairplay (Genderbent Pleasantview). It was a lot of fun to convert all the Sims to opposite genders. Sims 4 Spa Day Refresh: New Gameplay, But is it Enough? Pleasant Sims 2021-09-03 | Sims 4 Spa Day Refresh is happening - new gameplay including nails, manicures, pedicures, make money with wellness, be a yoga instructor, and more. Plus, there's THREE new wellness aspirations, a new trait, and new objects. But, is this really enough to make the pack fun?Spa Day was released in 2015, and it was a disappointment to many players. Your Sim couldn't actually be a yoga instructor. But now you can - and you can start a wellness business or just make money on the side teaching yoga in the park, leading meditation, giving manicures and pedicures, or using the massage table.I really like these changes and updates. I always like to see the game making progress. But my concern is that the developers/EA/Sims team - whoever - is focusing on things that are less important. So many players have been asking for base game fixes - things like lore, whims, trait overhaul, memories, better autonomy, etc. Does refreshing old packs take attention away from fixing the core problems with the game? Top 5 Dramatic Storylines in The Sims (All Games) Pleasant Sims 2021-08-31 | The Sims is a game filled with drama, and today we're looking at the top five best dramatic storylines in the series - across all games. From Don Lothario and his conquest of Pleasantview in The Sims 2 to the sad story of Agnes Crumplebottom in The Sims 3. (Sorry Sims 4. You might be out of the running on this one.)The Sims also had some nice storylines, but they were very basic since it was the first game. It wasn't until Sims 2 that the developers started to bring the drama. Then, in The Sims 3 there were some great storylines too. Another great one is the Alto - Landgraab rivalry in Sunset Valley. Unfortunately, The Sims 4 leaves a lot to be desired in the storyline department. The stories feel rushed, they don't make sense, and none of the Sims are even connected among the different households in the base game. I'm just not feeling it. Sorry Sims 4 - maybe next time! The Sims 2 TUTORIAL taught me so much! (First time playing) Pleasant Sims 2021-08-21 | I'm playing The Sims 2 Tutorial for the first time in my life! I've been playing Sims 2 for 15 years and I have never once played with Tutorial Joe and Jane - the tutorial family. I thought I had nothing left to learn about this game, but I was wrong! The tutorials in Sims 2 cover the basics of new gameplay, relationships, and even build mode (well, at least the basics of how to build a square house). I thought it would be so basic, it would be worthless to me. But, I somehow managed to learn a few new things and I was reminded of some features I forgot about too! ADOPTION COMPARED! Sims 1 vs. Sims 2 vs. Sims 3 vs. Sims 4 Pleasant Sims 2021-05-07 | I'm comparing adoption in Sims 1 vs. Sims 2 vs. Sims 3 vs. Sims 4. How does the adoption process work in each game, how does each one differ, and which one is the best (in my opinion)? Instead, you had to wait until the adoption agency randomly called your Sim on the phone and offered. And even then, you could only adopt babies. In The Sims 2, you could now call up adoption services from the phone and order your very own baby, toddler, or child. You could choose age only - nothing else (even gender) was within the player's control. And there were limitations. You had to have a certain amount of Simoleons and if you had children taken away before, you couldn't adopt again. In The Sims 3, you had even more control. Now you could choose the age AND gender of your adopted child. Plus, the financial requirement was gone and you could even name your new family member! The social worker also came immediately instead of making you wait a day like in Sims 2.In The Sims 4, adoption was now costly - $1,000 for a baby, toddler, or child. You can initiate adoption on the computer, and your Sim would go pick up their new child immediately. Unfortunately, there are no social worker NPCs in TS4, which I found a little disappointing. This Mod FIXES Sims 4 Aspirations! (Mostly) Pleasant Sims 2021-05-05 | There's a new mod for The Sims 4 and it FIXES the game's aspirations! I am not a fan of The Sims 4's aspirations - with their steps and levels to complete, many of which are dull and boring. But, this mod makes them more like Sims 2 & 3 aspirations - with a single goal to complete over a lifetime. I'd say they're 80% fixed. The only thing this doesn't address is the whims related to aspirations, which is a separate problem in itself. I would still recommend checking this mod out.
