I have been asked about it countless of times and always wanted to share it, but couldn't either due to problems with recording or simply because I would just keep on talking about things and go on tangents forever until it became nearly impossible to edit or even to make sense of what I was saying. Camille Saint-Saëns - Danse Macabre - Re-orchestrated by T.L.B. TLB Orchestration 2020-03-10 | This song has been a long time in the making so let me tell you a bit about it.This song was written in 1874 by Camille Saint-Saëns and is meant to represent a little story where Death wake up the dead to dance with them for a night. It is full of symbolism and has all sorts of really cool things inside that let you follow the song. A quick example is how death was represented by the violin solo which starts off by "adjusting" itself in a series of tritone, which was commonly associated with dissonance, telling us that it is indeed Death itself (Or maybe even the Devil)But I'm rambling. It's a really good song that barely feels like a classical song at time, and I struggled to find better version both in interpretation and sound quality than "that" version on Youtube that everyone, even my music teacher, refered to when talking about Danse Macabre, so I decided to give a try at remaking it myself.Now of course nearly all of what you're hearing is digital like all the music I do, so there are some parts that took me hours to get right just because digital instruments don't sound as well as real ones, and I had to tune them a whole lot to even get what I got here. Even still I can hear some part that I can only hope could be better if I had access to either better programs or just real musicians. Still, having everything be digital does have some ups, like for instance I could add my own instruments that were not a part of the original song, like a bit more percussions, chimes, glockenspiel and a good old choir. And finally there is the addition of the cello solo.The story behind that is quite simple : I didn't want to use digital instruments for the violin solo the song is built around just because I know for a fact that it would suck, so I went out and got some help from someone. That's where I met Tom and Jess, a duo of professional musician who made me an offer and recorded the violin solo of the song while adapting it for a violin/cello duo. Why? Well I like cello, and I had a duo to work with so I let them be free with their interpretation. While it does technically mess with the original meaning of the song as the solo is meant to represent Death leading the danse, I decided that for the sake of making this version both unique and sounding better it was worth sacrificing a bit of emaning while still educating you all on the original message so it's still not lost. Let's say that Life and Death decided to dance together for this version, alright?Anyways, this is already way too long of a desciption. Super Mario World - Ghost House Orchestral Cover TLB Orchestration 2019-05-31 | A lot of people keep asking for this one, so I gave it a try. This song uses the same theme from the Castle theme of SMW simply because most songs from World are built from the same theme. By far the Ghost Hosue ressembles the Castle theme more than any other in the game, though, so I wasn't too sure how to make it sound different. Super Mario 64 - Ultimate Bowser Epic Orchestral Remix TLB Orchestration 2018-06-07 | I think I haven't expressed something properly on the organ only version : Mario music is basically what started basically everything for me. My love of orchestral music and will to orchestrate came from me listening to the score of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 when I was younger and many of the iconic songs from a lot of Mario games are still stuck deep inside my brain. Ultimate Bowser from Mario 64 has however a special connection to me since it is one of the first rather hard song I learned to play on the piano when i was about 12 or so. I still know how to play it nearly completly as of today even though I haven't touched the song in years. Requiem For A Damaged Coda (For the Damaged Coda/Requiem for a Dream Mash-up) TLB Orchestration 2018-04-01 | Alright here's a quick edit of my rather popular remix of For the Damage Coda that includes segments from Requiem for a Dream. This is an idea that was proposed by another Youtube user on my For the Damaged Coda video and I liked the concept. Take note that this is still very similar to my original epic orchestral remix of the song and that I simply edited it to add some of the melodies and rythm of Requiem for a Dream. Overall, it only took a few hours of work and I'm happy with the result and the change for this song, giving a little bit of freshness.

Yesterday i had some good folks helping me fix it and now I'm back in the race! So why not start where I last left off : some more Overwatch heroes getting songs and this time it's the big badass Doomfist, a.k.a. the Successor. This song is probably among the purest form of "true epicness" that I could get asside maybe from Armageddon or something, but still I had some fun working with powerful brass and choir to make this legendary figure stick out of the bunch. This one was the first song I've started with and I really wanted to catch the heroic and angelic side of Angela Ziegler. Still, her moral code makes it so that she often disagrees with Overwatch, leading to her stating that the group was shut down for a reason.
