We did one shot and it was 5 minutes 18 secs. All recorded on Betacam SP and 5D Mark III. Here the audio is modulated after you enter the wanted audio parameters and then the stream is sent to both the DSLR via cable and a WAV-recorder that prints to SD-cards (analog to digital conversion).
