Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster - Xbox Series S vs PC vs Original Dead Rising FluffyQuack 2024-09-24 | With the help of Icewave and Rymante, I pretend to be Digital Foundry and do a somewhat-scientific comparison between the Xbox Series S and PC versions of DR DR! And then I compare the original game to the remake for the heck of it.Note: At the start of the video, I talk quite a bit about how the PC version looks a bit washed out compared to the Xbox version. Further into the video, I realize I was capturing the Xbox footage using a limited colour range, and once I enabled a full range, then it looked a bit washed out on both platforms. First Look at Mature-Themed Idle MMO Raven 2 FluffyQuack 2024-07-04 | With Icewave in the call, I randomly check out a new Diablo-esque MMORPG with an automatic-play feature for smart phones and PC that's only available in Korea (not sure if a global release is planned). I should note that I did a silly and I assumed the automatic item usage could only be toggled for items, but I learned after the recording that you can actually do that for skills too, which I think means you can basically idle through the entire game if you wanted to.It's a weird feature at first glance, but when I think of it, I don't mind it that much. Duke Nukem 64 Co-op with Gar! Part 3: Gar Likes Troubleshooting FluffyQuack 2024-06-12 | Gar and I finish our trek through the N64 version of Duke Nukem 64 by rounding out with some good ol' deathmatch. The game ended up being shorter than I expected as there was a level taken from Duke 3D episode 4 early on, so I figured it would have every or most episode 4 levels, but that wasn't the case. The game isn't quite what I expected, I got very confused by the mechanics at times, and I encountered a few bugs here and there, but once I got into the swing of things I started to enjoy the game more.I'm not a fan of "roguelites" where you level up your character(s) between runs, so I'm happy this only seems to extend loadouts rather than making yourself more powerful between runs. Prince of Persia 2 Xbox Port Playthrough - Modded with Fixed Jumps! FluffyQuack 2024-02-06 | This is a pretty rare port of Prince of Persia 2. It was created for the Xbox version of Sands of Time (Sands of Time also includes a port of the Mac version of POP1 in the Xbox, GC, and PS2 versions of the game... with PC getting no bonus, unfortunately). There is one other playthrough of this on Youtube, but mine is unique in that way that I'm playing with a mod that I created that improves the running jumping mechanics!The running jump mechanic is a bit cursed, and I applied changes to make it function the same as in POP1, where it feels more responsive and more reliable to execute. And unlike what I say in this video, I was able to apply the same changes to the v1.0 DOS version as well. I thought the button behind him is for the same portcullis, but that's not the case.- There is actually a point to the whole genie in a bottle sequence. I didn't notice this, but the exit door is opened by one of the buttons there. Prince of Persia 2 Playthrough - The Most Unmerciful Game? FluffyQuack 2024-01-28 | Time for more Prince of Persia playthroughs! This time it's Prince of Persia 2, the dos version. I managed to bribe Icewave to be along for the ride.Some notes:- This is v1.1 of the game. It fixes some bugs, but it also introduces two new bugs: going through exit doors looks a bit wonky, and fighting some enemies is way harder.- I mention the timer in the game is 2 hours. That's wrong!
