Riding out Hurricane Ian in a Mobile Home cozmorio 2022-10-02 | Hurricane Ian made a more easterly turn as it approached Florida and I was essentially trapped in my mobile home as it barreled unexpectedly towards my town of Sebring. This clip is from inside my trailer as the then Category 4 storm was just about to make landfall in Lee County. Ian eventually continued on its northeast track, passing directly over my house some 3 hours later as a CAT 2. Luckily, only minor damages to some of the aluminum skirting. Power glitched, like as seen in the video, many times through the night but never went fully out. Whew, not fun feeling and hearing the raging wind and rain for hours in the dark.
Hail Storm in Sebring, Florida cozmorio 2022-04-05 | It started as loud, intermittent knocks on the roof and sides of house. Went out and saw golf ball sized hail falling from the sky, getting more intense, no rain, for about three minutes. Then the rain accompanied the barrage of rapid-fire hail. Luckily, my car is under the carport roof and the slant of the hail falling was from the east which is the other side of the house.Last time I saw a hail storm like this in Central Florida was around 1999. I was driving and when the hail came down I quickly drove and parked under a motel entrance canopy alongside other panicked drivers.

The big downfall of this was that the Atrium Bar and the live music could be heard until they closed the fire door at 10 pm and the area forward is a staff storage room so lots of banging on the walls. At $99 for five nights I guess you get what you pay for.
