[Undertale Spoilers] Mogolovonio - The Fight for Music
updated
It was indeed. No multibinds were used, nor any notable speedrun tech as far as I'm aware.
Assumedly, the glitch will be patched out soon as of the upload date.
Even WITH the bug, this is pretty difficult to keep everything timed well.
This is probably much easier as Noise due to standing superjump and tornado.
The rooms you get are a BIG importance on how this will typically go.
Was recording this in a VC without my mic on.
The people speaking were:
@ChaosLordX @Stumpedlogs @randomobjectives @floofdoge217
Anyways, I almost died during this run cuz I was stupid, but hey, we ball.
And of course, no extra time from the shop! Even with a few fuckups, it still worked out...
Shoutout to @The_Catz_Lord for daring me to do this lol

Well, this was a damn ride. Did it once earlier today, then was like "man i wanna record this" so I had to do it again, which took like two hours itself. Woag.
Anyways, this game kicks ass and I love it. Definitely try it out, but be warned the later levels get DIFFICULT.

Gnome Forest, P-Ranked with a Max Combo, No Toppins, Damagless with All Chef Tasks in the same run.
I had noticed in the description of ch3yco's video that they wanted to attempt this with more parts of the challenge, so after getting the Max Combo addition done, I went all out this time! It's worth noting that Noise can't skip the toppins due to home destruction.

Shoutout to @ch3yco617 for having been the one who did the No Toppin challenge initially, from what I'm aware.
I had noticed in the description of ch3yco's video that they wanted to attempt this with Max Combo, as well as hitless, so I went for it myself!
One thing to note is that Gustavo has a weird quirk with bumping into an enemy at Mach 2 where it's possible to replenish your combo without killing said enemy. This happens twice in the run.
This run was considered hitless for the entirety of the level until right before the treasure room during escape, but 1 hit ain't too bad either.

This felt like a damn anime movie with the sheer amount of moments I felt like it was all over. This was a rather messy run on its own, but it was luckily first try while recording.
Some things change here or there if you don't save, but the latter half is relatively the same, apart from, of course... the no saving. I opted to just completely ignore the save points altogether. Touching them doesn't heal you unless you save anyways, but hey, why not push the "ignoring Flowey" idea?
i was too afraid to go for Lap 4 after this attempt was literally the first one I did in a session.
0:00 Lap 1
10:04 Lap 2
18:10 Lap 3
This mod adds in:
- Lap 3 & 4 mechanics, very similar to the associated PT mod's Lap 3/4.
- A togglable checkpoint for Lap 3, so you can restart from Lap 3 if you lose. (This will not save P-Ranks.)
- Infinite Lap mode, which allows you to do laps to your heart's content, as well as a Combo Challenge option that kills you if you drop a combo.
- A modified SugarShack Mines, allowing it to be P-Rankable! (You also lose the donuts on Lap 2+.)
- A few modified rooms in some levels to be a little more consistent. (Toggleable!)
- Indicators in the hub for when you complete a Lap 3/4.

To install it, simply run Delta Patcher and set the xdelta file as the patch, and the data.win as the file you're trying to patch. (If you have a third box asking you for an output file, name it whatever and replace the normal data.win with that one you just made. Backup the original data.win if you don't wanna redownload it when there's an update to the patch.)
Though that's most likely due to the changes I made to Coneball's hitbox for Lap 3.
And that Janitor Door being weird.

P-Ranked because I wanted to see just how the secret might fuck you up.
... It definitely did. Either way, this whole thing took me about.. 10 hours?? I got an S-Rank Lap 4 done at the 6 hour mark but.. y'know how it is.

So! This level had to be altered VERY slightly. Coneball had to be made to fade in instead of follow you for two rooms, and slowed down a little in one room. Apart from that, tis all good! I also get an S-Rank here as I added a LAPPED screen. The LAPPED screen will appear no matter what rank you get, apart from P-Rank.
One small general change was made to have Coneball's hitbox during Lap 3 mimic closer to Pizzaface's, otherwise you'd die in situations that didn't seem like they were close enough.
And if you want to try this out, check this video's description: youtube.com/watch?v=4Y7KfUWIJOk
To patch it, use a program called xdelta UI, and apply the patch to the data.win file.
Only works for the P-Rank Build. (KEEP IN MIND! I've only tested it with the two levels I've posted so far! I can't guarantee other levels will be possible! Feel free to let me know, though, so I can try and update the patch.)

Wanted to try and mod in the Pizza Tower Lap 3 mod idea into Sugary Spire, and it seemed to work out pretty well!

============
There will be small cuts here and there throughout! This was a multi-session run, so I put together mutliple recordings. Deaths to boss fights are edited out. There's also some oddities with the audio during the Sweetheart's Castle section, so I apologize for that.
============
Some glitches are used in this run, such as Tag Skipping and Skill Swapping!
Tag Skipping, with proper timing of movement after beginning to hold A, allows you to move while the tag menu is coming up, letting you bypass some triggers. This is used to skip King Crawler, as he is not needed for progression, and skipping him gives less EXP overall.
Skill Swapping, using proper timing of inputs in the menu, allows you to give skills to other party members that usually can't learn them. One example of this is giving Aubrey the Observe skill so Omori can do attacking more.
============
The general rules of this run are as follows:
- ONLY Omori is allowed to gain EXP, and he must gain as little as he can. (typically by making enemies sad. This doesn't affect bosses.)
- No unneeded fights that give EXP. Anything that doesn't is fair game.
============
There may be more of this run to come later on, showing the final team of this run against Day 4 bosses, but we'll have to see. For now, I hope you enjoy this!

Taken from the speedrun.com rules for this category:
IMPORTANT
- Runs must be on NORMAL mode
- If your character dies, you have change characters and skip to the next level, other than that no skipping is allowed.
- Instead of time, please submit the previous level number you successfully completed. For the hour put the last completed level, for the time and seconds put 0.
- There is a 999 level cap, as that is the highest number allowed submitted on the website.
Rules
- This run involves using all four characters; Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette. - Once one character dies you have to switch to the next character, and skip the level you died on. Once all four characters die, your run ends.
- Skipping is only allowed when your character dies.
- Switching character between 2 levels is allowed as long as you're not switching to a character who's dead.
- If you encounter a softlock, that counts as a death. Skip the level and proceed with the next character.

Gamebanana upload of the chart: gamebanana.com/mods/290620
I charted this. Yes.
(Before people think I'm somehow ultimate extreme rhythm gamer, this was done with a bot.)
Is the whole game up to Week 6 beatable with the Up Arrow inaccessible? Find out here!

Of course, with the updated charts, it'd be fun to try and full combo the new ones.
Knock Knock is definitely the fastest song, but I've surprisingly been having much more trouble getting to an FC in Man on Stilts, so I didn't put that one up.
And, of course, Gimme a Break isn't too bad.
Most of the vids I've seen so far featuring CG5 edition were of the first version, and since then, the charts got harder, so I decided to make a video myself to play through it and show it off.
If you want my opinion of the mod, everything in it is pretty good.
The new art is nicely made, looks like it could fit in FNF, and the music is definitely nothing short of great. Definitely recommended to try out, even if it's only one week so far. (I hope "so far", because I'd love to see more.)
So, I modded the game by changing one byte in a hex editor, and made the cap for the multiplier x99. However, I'm not even sure that'd be reachable with this on anyways, so it's basically no cap.
Either way, here's me playing Baseline with this on. Of course, any mistake would cause me to lose my entire multiplier.. Hopefully that doesn't happen!
I once drowned above the water in Act 3. That's how irritating it was for me, but I'm done. Thank god.
The reason I mention no deaths in the title is because you can use a checkpoint in Act 3 to make a section a lot easier to go through without bubbles, but, we ain't having that here.

This is a collection of my personally experienced glitches and bugs in Sonic Mania Plus, mostly Encore Mode! Hope you enjoy!
There's a bunch of different things here, and I did the video in a style similar to the S3K glitch videos made by ORKAL, which I saw first years ago and honestly really liked.
Check them out if you wanna. youtube.com/user/ORKAL
It loads an invalid level of the game that does this. Quite interesting, actually.
This was done on the Famicom Disk System version of Mario 2 JP.
It makes the end of level fanfare take forever.
World 8-1 allows you, if you're big or fire, to move enough to the right side of the screen so that when you reach the flag, you can pull this off. It's extremely difficult, and getting hurt basically ruins the attempt.
Yes, it took over 2 mintues.
Basically, pausing at the right time makes it so the death music fails to play. Probably due to it not loading when the game unpauses or something similar.
