LimosaInc. unveils Canadas first eVTOL/eSTOL, electric Vertical/Short Take-off and Landing Aircraft Limosa Inc. 2022-02-20 | Almost 9 months ago, we embarked on a very difficult path to be the first startup company in Quebec and Canada, to work on the design and development of a bio-inspired fully electric combined vertical and short take-off and landing (eVTOL/ eSTOL) aerial vehicle. The project started with very few people, a limited budget, and many different concepts. However, none of these challenges brought the team's work to a halt and after countless meetings and hours of design and simulations, we are proud to announce our vision for sustainable zero emission urban and regional air mobility “LimoConnect v1”. From the start, we knew that our solution should not be a simple replication for the limited applications in this competitive market. Thanks to the retractable landing gear mechanism and specific curved-wing design, LimoConnect could also utilize the runways and serve as an eSTOL, making it a solid option not only for urban areas, but also for regional travel and freight transport using existing infrastructures.
