DIY Blower Motor Resistor Fix Braxen McConnell 2020-11-18 | Second gen Tacomas always have this issue! The resistor goes bad and the blower motor only works on the highest setting. This is an easy way to fix it and only costs about $20 to fix. I chose to solder the connections, but you can use the wire crimps provided in the replacement if you prefer. DIY Camper Extension Braxen McConnell 2019-05-14 | Every time I sleep in my truck, I have to sleep diagonally.. Until now. I decided I wanted some extra space in case I was camping with a friend. So I decided I to take a look at it for myself. After looking around online, I found a replacement ring bayonet for pretty cheap, and I knew I could do the repair myself. Bone Conducting Headphones | Can They Block Noise? Braxen McConnell 2018-08-31 | I can across this set of bone conducting headphones so I thought I would put them to the test. I wanted to see if they could cancel out noise (or wind) while I was riding a motorcycle. While the headphones are interesting, I don't thing they are the best option when it comes to noise canceling headphones. How To Hike Hawaiis Stairway To Heaven (Haiku Stairs) Braxen McConnell 2018-08-06 | I hiked Hawaii's Stairway To Heaven and it was hands down one of the best hikes I've ever done! Luckily I took my camera with me so I could document it. We went up the back way, which is a LEGAL way, however, we went down the front, which is technically still trespassing. I don't suggest anyone breaks the law to do this hike, however, should you decide to do it of your own free will and choice, be sure to be careful, and be respectful of anyone you come in contact with along the way. There is a hefty fine attached to this hike should you get caught (up to $1000) so if you decide to attempt this hike, be ready for a potential (Not guaranteed) fine. That being said, this was one of the most beautiful and worth while hikes I've been on. The views coming up from the back and down the front were incredible. We plotted our route based off of a few articles we found online, and started the hike around 12pm. The hike took us about 6-7 hours total, but we were moving pretty good, it easily could take 9-10 if you go slow and stop often. Lasfit LED Blinker/Resistor Install on 2009 Tacoma | Fix Hyperflash Braxen McConnell 2018-07-28 | If you have tried to install a LED blinker and have gotten hyper flash, its probably because you need to install a resister. The resistor increases the load going to the LED bulb so it basically tricks the trucks computer into thinking there is a standard bulb in the housing. While some had an idea of roughly where it was, most didn't know exactly where it was at. So with Google Maps as our guide, and a rough estimate on the location, we set out to find it... After talking with a security guard (who said it was closed and inaccessible), we finally found the road that took us down to a trail, and from the trail, we found the rope swing, and it was everything we could have asked for! DJI Osmo Mobile 2 First Time Use | Honduras Vlog #3 Braxen McConnell 2018-05-07 | Before I took off on this adventure to Honduras, I bought the DJI Osmo Mobile 2. The first few days I only had a little bit of time to use it since we were moving around so much. But I finally got some time to sit down and play around with it a bit. There will be a full review coming for the Osmo, so keep an eye out for that, but I wanted to get some real life usage in before I give my honest feedback. There are a few things that I found a little annoying, but for the most part, I was very impressed with the Osmo 2. It did a great job at stabilizing my footage in a lot of different scenarios. The Best Spot In Honduras? | Vlog #2 Braxen McConnell 2018-05-04 | Snakes, private islands, and snorkeling. We did a TON of exploring today. We got picked up from out private island that we stayed on the night before, got some food back on Chachauate, and then went snake hunting for a pink boa (the pink boa is only found on Cayos Cochinos). After we found the snake we were looking for, we went over to Exson's favorite spot, and I can see why it is his favorite, it was a beautiful lookout point over the ocean. After sending up the DJI Mavic, we snorkeled and then made it back to island #2 where we were the only ones there. Honduras continues to surprise me! Wanna do a trip like this? This was my first time there and I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful this place is!! So I decided to try something new. I am going to be traveling a lot this summer, so I decided to try vlogging some of my trips. So welcome to my Honduras vlog!
