Theo is someone who sees her for who she is, is able to see past her standing in society and values her opinions. I loved their witty back and forth, and I'm really, REALLY hoping that we see more of it in the third season.I was honestly kind of surprised to find that there isn't more fanfiction etc. about them, considering that the series came out earlier this year! It has so many interesting elements, forbidden romance, misunderstandings, a sweet and tender friendship that evolves into something more even though they know that to be together, Eloise would have to throw away the life she was born into. Theo doesn't want her to go! He cares about her! He isn't angry at Eloise, but the circumstances that make it impossible for them to be together, and Eloise is still too scared to take that next step with him. I like to think that they would have continued to write to each other in secret, using their book exchanges. Even her footman is on board! It's too good to let go! We stan!From Han Seok's side, he says to Vincenzo once Cha Young has left the room, 'I don't want her to be six feet under, and I don't appreciate you digging it for her.' It just got me thinking, he doesn't WANT to be on the wrong side of her. He wants her to be on HIS team.I mean, picture this. Cha Young goes on a date with Han Seok because she wants revenge for the role he played in the death of her father. She decides that the best way to do this, is to exploit the fondness he feels for her. I think he’s also a very complex character. One of the things I like the most about this drama is that both the male leads have murdered a lot of people in cold blood, and Cha Young also has this darker side that comes up every so often. I love the fact that she worked on the ‘wrong’ side to start with, and decided to join Vincenzo on her own terms.I have second lead syndrome so I liked him from the start, but when his true identity was revealed I became so invested!! I want to know more about his past, what happened with his mother, why he decided to make his alter ego a subordinate to Cha Young in particular, etc. etc. - it was so interesting how we found out some of those details indirectly from the team’s research when they were trying to discover his true identity.I basically made this to bring together all of the little moments that make it hard to tell what’s true and what’s a lie when it comes to his relationship with Cha Young, and that make me think he has a weak spot for her. I started thinking about it when I realised in episode 5 that he had nothing to gain from vying for her attention / trying to get her to date him. It didn’t add anything to his cover story, and he could have asked her for information as a friend. I became more convinced after I’d seen episode 9 - the quote I’ve pulled out above was from a conversation Cha Young had with Vincenzo, but it also could easily apply to Han Seok. It was so interesting that after his brother tried to get her killed, Han Seok got incredibly angry and immediately called her to make sure she was okay, only to look jealous when he realised she'd been sleeping at Vincenzo's. I thought that small scene was very revealing.It mightttt not be a romantic attachment, and today’s episode hasn’t dropped yet so lots of things might change. I don’t really care though because I just wanted to imagine a scenario where they became an evil power couple, or where she managed to calm him down into becoming more of an upstanding businessman just using her no-nonsense attitude with him, haha.Can you feel my heartbeat?? But then I started thinking about it more, and decided that despite the fact they lived 70 years or so apart, Dorian would also be an awesome match.... some reasons:1. They're both kind of hedonists, but Benedict has a bit more self-restraint since he's from such an influential family, so I think would help Dorian keep himself in check a bit there2. Benedict is incredibly witty and is generally cheerful, so would help alleviate some of Dorian's gloominess (they both have a pretty dry sense of humour which I think would also mesh quite well)3. Benedict is an ARTIST, HELLOOOO!!!! Dorian's portrait is what keeps him young, low-key evil, and alive??? The possibilities there are endless4. Dorian is ultimately craving genuine, meaningful love, and Benedict is a man who steps in to protect and support people without asking any questions (e.g. being immediately prepared to take over the household from Anthony should the dual go sour, helping Eloise escape the party, standing up for Genevieve)5. Benedict would still be a bit repressed I think, in terms of acknowledging his bisexuality, and Dorian is the exact opposite of that so could help him explore a new side of himselfI hope a few people enjoy this, and also that you're all doing okay at the moment! First, I think one of the reasons that Jet's episodes are SO good is that he represents those that the fire nation has left stranded and forgotten. His freedom fighters all came from different earth kingdom villages that the fire nation wiped out, it's a really dark concept.The first video I did for these two had Jet discover "Li's" true identity at the end, but this time I thought it could be fun to do it at the start. So they hooked up on the ferry obviously (even though Ozai's fire nation canonically made mlm illegal), but what if Zuko decided to save Jet from the Dai Lee right after their dual swords fight? What if that's where Jet finds out that he's the banished prince? What if Jet begins trailing him to 'get him back', but realises that Zuko has just as much reason to hate the fire nation as he does, and decides he still wants him in the gang after all? What if Azula catches on, and Jet realises that Zuko's feelings for him are genuine despite their differences? I'm not sure if I succeeded but that's the tone I was aiming to strike with this piece!I haven't edited this band since S1 (almost 2 years ago now, wow!) so the mid-way point in the series felt like a good stage to revisit their music. They're forever my favourite because their songs are sad but not overly depressing, angsty but not too upsetting. We know far more about Acxa than the other generals, and since Allura hasn't shown any romantic leanings in canon, I figured I might as well explore this idea!If people can ship Lotor and Allura they can get behind Acxa and Allura, end of story. Acxa had her own motivations for following Lotor, and she clearly has a code of honor judging by the weblum episode when she helped Keith to safety. Allura has also come a long way since S1; I want to see her with someone who is strong and capable, and that she expresses romantic interest in herself.3. Honestly? I kind of hate my editing right now. I had SO much inspiration in 2015, but recently I find my style bland and I've come to hate it. I'm in my third year at university, and that basically means that I have a LOT more work than before. I'm writing about music/TV for about 4 magazines now on top of my studies and other commitments such as radio. My mental health has also been fluctuating badly again, so motivation to even get out of bed is difficult for me these days.3. This is.. my favourite song. Ever. I've wanted to edit Klance for it since August 2016, but I've been waiting until I had enough footage and Lance wasn't really in S2. I have to keep reminding myself that quality can be better than quantity, I hope that the kind of subscribers I have appreciate the time and effort that goes into every single one of my works even if they don't come out as often.☞ S T O R Y L I N EWarning: This edit is about a breakup. *sobs lightly*Essentially, everything is the same as canon, but both Keith AND Shiro were on a mission together and BOTH got tortured by the Galra. Shiro escapes first, and then sets up shop in Keith's childhood shack, trying to find Keith via the lions etc.Meanwhile, Lance recognises Keith, even with his galra heritage exposed whilst in captivity, and so they rescue him and follow his directions to the shack where they find Shiro. Then everything progresses as normal.There are three major themes in this edit that I wanted to explore, because I really strongly believe that they're the aspects of Klance that still haven't been resolved in canon and NEED to be or something bad will happen.1. Lance's tender feelings for Keith are eclipsed by his jealousy. He likes Keith, but as the youngest child at home he clearly has some deep-rooted insecurities that will take longer than a few seasons to heal.2. Keith is constantly running away from things he doesn't want to deal with. He doesn't think things through, and he doesn't fully consider the impact of his actions on the rest of the team until it's too late. It happened multiple times in battle in Season 1, and we saw it explicitly in Season 3 when Lance had to once again manage Keith's impulses.3. Lance isn't straight, I think we can be sure of that at this point. My own experiences liking the same gender as me are reflected in Lance's behaviour, but the difference is that I don't think this realisation will come easy for Lance. Whether it's a religious upbringing or something else, I think that the development of his relationship with Keith from friendship to romance is likely to be rocky and confusing.So the story goes, Lance and Keith hook up, but those factors combined mean that they never properly talk things through. Lance is constantly the one left behind and struggling with his not-straight feelings, while Keith is left frustrated as Lance clings to the "idea" of him, from their fighter pilot days. It could all be solved if they admitted the truth, that they would die for each other, but unfortunately Keith goes off to tackle Lotor on his own before that conversation can happen.It's a trap, and Lance ends up dying before they can resolve things. Keith is left talking to his AI, the ghost of a memory since the boy he loves is lost. Keith doesn't have a home back on Earth, so if you wanted to make it really dark you could imagine that he stays in space forever because he finds it too painful to let go of Lance's consciousness.Last thing:This has to be said again since a few people don't read my descriptions/have been asking: If I see/hear of a repost, regardless of credits, I will no longer share my Klance works.
