Jumpsuit, cover me. ~ Trigun Stampede Pink2646 2024-07-21 | I've been wanting to edit with this song for a long, long time now, basically ever since it came out all those years ago but never had the opportunity to actually make something? and what better then to finally put this to use on Vash's and Knives birthday? yippieeee It's a really simple edit, tried to focus more of the scenes and the importance they weight over Vash's morals and how he acts, principally. For example, like how he tries to face his problems, to face Knives (returing to his initial startpoint, to the left) but it all crumbles down and results to either Vash being hunted down or hurt every single time; be it physically or emotionally, so he runs away, he runs away from everything (leaving his past, his memories and his family, to the right). But no matter where he runs to or tries to hide, this looming, threatening image of Knives and what he represents will always be towering over Vash, haunting him and reminding him of what he, of what *they* did to humans. Even if Vash hates and despises him he still tries to reach out and reason with Knives because in the end he's the only family left he got, the only Independent Plant left, just like him. buzzcut seasons || Cloud + Aerith Pink2646 2024-03-24 | I finished this edit last Monday and its been sitting on my files for the whole week. I intended on uploading it sooner but I wasn't feeling very good throughout the entirety os this week, feeling way too stressed out and distressed with lots of things. Thankfully I'm feeling rather okay now :)Uhm, I'm very proud of this edit! Specially the coloring that I managed to do! I really wanted to highlight their eyes and blue tones overall and it def payed off! Doing colorings for game edits is kinda tricky since there's already the problem of trying to find good footage without the absurd amount of motion blur that comes from the cutscenes itself plus some scenes being totally not coloring-friendly. I'm really happy that I managed to use almost all the scenes that I wanted to. Dancing with your ghost || Cloud & Aerith Pink2646 2024-03-08 | I finished Rebirth about a day ago? and... I'm not coping with it very well. I broke down in tears with the ending and god- it's so gorgeous but yet it hurts so much. I was really hopeful that Aerith's fate could be avoided but alas; there's actually tons of different interpretations of the ending and all of them makes me so emotional about what can happen. I love both Aerith and Cloud so much and this game delivered the most sweet and gentle scenes with them together. My heart aches so much for them and the soft, pure intimacy they have throughout the game brought me to tears every single time. They truly are star-crossed lovers, the right person but the wrong time... They even have a whole side quest about photographing shooting stars together. And poor boy Cloud. His mind is totally destroyed at this point, where he can no longer tell what's real or not, and we as the player, can't even tell aswell because we're just looking things through Cloud's eyes. He continues seeing Aerith around everyone but only Cloud can see her, maybe is the grief, the pain, not accepting what happened. But maybe it could also mean how far his mind has deteriorated and the traumas are getting to him, blurring his senses. The usual episodes I go through every few months where all I wanna do is cry and isolate myself from everyone. Anyway, I started this as a vent and a way to unburden myself from all the pressure from work and family and it honestly helped me out a lot. Thankfully I'm feeling a lot better now. This is a really personal edit, not one of my best works but still a very sensitive one for me as I see myself a lot in Vash, personality wise. Every scene and every colour I used has their own meaning in my interpretation, it's how I view Vash over all the things he went through and all the people he lost over the years, all of them assuring him words of happinnes which always turned to be lies, leaving him alone with a fake sense of secureness. Or how the closest person to him used him for manipulation and self destruction. Break my heart • Vash + Nicholas Pink2646 2023-02-26 | I honestly didn't think I would upload something new so fast haha who would have thought? but apparently I fell pretty hard in the Trigun hype. I fell in love with this show and its characters. Studio Orange always held my interest ever since Beastars and I was really curious about this new one because their 3D and CGI are just perfect and super well done! and yeah they nailed it again! I never watched the original show but after watching Stampede I am really considering watching the old one. I wont survive after this season ends and I'm left with no Trigun content so I will devour everything that's already released fjdklsjfklsdfVash grew so much to me and he easily became a comfort character of mine in less than 2 weeks, I love his personality and how he handles his problems. His relationship with Nicholas is just 👌👌👌 hands down so funny and pleasent to watch, they complete each other and are just entertaining in every way possible. Oleander ~ Tsurune; 𝘬𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘨𝘪 Pink2646 2023-02-13 | It took me a while to upload something new as I have been going through a really hard inspiration block since December, not only that but my emotional has not been the best as well, work has consumed me entirely and it leaves me so tired and unmotived to do anything at all. I have tons of ongoing projects but I always end up dropping or deleting it. but hey! finally, first upload of the year : ) Episode 05 resonated with me in such a deep level that I just had to vent through it. Kaito was such a big mood in all aspects during that episode that at some point it felt like I was looking through a mirror. He tries to deal with his problems all by himself and closes himself to everyone around him, he gets distant, gets angry but doesnt blame anyone. The violence he shows to those who start asking and poking at his morals is just a way to cope with himself. He doesnt actually hurt anyone or curses anyone but the act of showing menace is an alert to keep others away from him and to stop questioning him. and I love that. Violence aside, I could relate a lot to him, specially this few months.Kaito was always an interesting character since season 1 but the highlight they gave to him these last few espisodes helped develop more of his personality and they did it so masterfully and beautifully. Also, the song choice; I have been dwelling a lot in the Warrior Cats community again and this song was really popular with animation memes and maps in there, and I just had to use it for this edit. The Oleander flower is know as being toxic and dangerous paralleling with Kaitos hard and difficult temper which also ends up hurting and suffocating him. Guess that's it for now, short edit but it means a lot to me. I am going to be super busy these next few weeks (or months?) so I’m not sure when I will have the time to finish some other projects of mine that are still in the making. I’ve been wanting to edit something focused on Oda for while now, he’s such a good and interesting character but unfortunately so underrated in the BSD fandom. He is easily my top 3 favourites and he deserves some more recognition, and after reading the BEAST light novel it made me appreciate Oda (and Akutagawa) even more. I tried showing in the edit all the key points in Oda life during his time in the Mafia and how those indirectly led him to his death as well as how it destroyed him emotionally. We are one and the same Pink2646 2022-08-16 | This edit was made from a sudden wave of wanting to edit with Naruto after finish one of my mep parts for Leum. I actually had two other mep parts to finish first but I was having some really hard time with inspiration for it so I started this as a side thing, I needed something different to see if I was going through an edit block or just the usual lack of motivation for mep parts, and it seems it was the latter lol but I swear Im going to finish my parts in time!!!I think everyone knows by now but I love Sasuke and I love editing with Naruto! I tried to somewhat recreate the effects that I used in my old 2019 edit but a little less crazy? I used most of the effects that I did back then but to a less frequency and strenght so it can be a little easier to actually see the scenes. Not sure if it holds as good as the old one (still think the 2019 one is better to some degree) but I think I did a good job here. I did a lot of masks here as well but I think it will hard to spot since I try to make them as smooth as possible when transitioning. I kinda wanted to include more of Sasuke and Itachi rivalry but since the main goal was to use Naruto and Sasuke, I held a little with the Itachi scenes. But anyway, I had a great time doing this! It was super fun and I love the song! Youre unstable || Akutagawa Ryunosuke Pink2646 2022-07-21 | I gave Bungou Stray dogs a second try recently and I honestly didn’t think I would love it they way I do now. First time I watched it was around the time the first season was still releasing and I remember not liking it that much so I dropped, but now that there’s 3 seasons out and a movie, I gave it another try.The first season still is the weakest one when it comes to plot but thank goodness Akutagawa was there to carry it. From the second season onwards everything gets way better and made me really invested in the show as a whole. I just need to say it, season 2 and 3 are total masterpieces, I love it! Akutagawa easily became my favourite character after season 1 and now I wont shut up about it.Really wanted to edit something after I finished the show and was in doubt about making a Dazai/Oda edit or do one focused on Akutagawa but I feel like there’s already so many amv’s dedicated to Dazai that the community is over saturated with it, and the edgy boy deserves more love and recognition.please guys, look at akutagawa! he so angsty and sad :( he deserves more love.I picked this song because it literally screams his name and how broken this man is. I just can’t get over you ~ Rinharu Pink2646 2022-06-18 | I finally watched The Final Stroke movie and it gave me so much inspiration to edit with it, plus this amazing song! I love Bastille so much, they are my favourite band and Alok's unmistakables sound mixing turned this song into such a banger, I love it. The lyrics also helped me a lot when deciding what I wanted to use, at first I was going for Ikuya and Haru since they are my favourite ship but unfortunately Ikuya doesnt have that much screen time in this movie, giving more spotlight to Rin and Haru instead. So I decided to return to my 2013 roots and go for some classic Rinharu edit, because this movie is all about them!!! and it's soo good.Probably some spoilers for people who hadn't watch it yet, so read to your own accord; Rinharu still holds a special place in my heart and seeing them interact almost all the time in the movie made me really happy since that didnt happen for a long time now. Most of the time we would only see their pov for the entirety of season 2 and 3 and they would only meet around the end or for the first episode. But, even thought they are closer to each other, at the same time they aren't and thats what I tried to convey here; Haru is so obssesed with his competitive swimming against Albert that he ends up arguing with almost everyone, first his teacher and then with Rin as well as discarding others offering of help, as he did with Ikuya. Rin is frustrated because he failed at the (what I assume to be) Olympics and wants to focus on his own style, meaning that he's not swimming free anymore and will not follow Haru for the next competitions ''I can't crawl at your feet''. In my head, this is about Rengoku telling Tanjiro and Senjuro that he's sorry for leaving (dying) and abandoning them, but before he goes, he wants Tanjiro to see the truth about his family and try to help them in his place. The black and white parts being the colourless and bitterness emotions of Rengoku's father and how he diminishes anyone around him, including his yougest son. In a way, I kinda missed feeling this emptiness that only Eva can provide. It's different from anything else, I remember that when I finished EoE I spent some time reflecting to myself while also feeling this dread on my throat, it's not exactly something bad but something that makes you question everything and feel emotionaly sad. The movie had everything that I could ask for, sweet moments, epic battles, a GORGEOUS scenary and animation, and a much needed dialogue between certain parties. ofc we can't forget the 4th wall break with Anno criticizing society lmao.This movie is a closure to Evangelion, a closure to the world we know filled with Evas and Angels, a closure to Shinji inners turmoil and his resolution from now on. The timeloops were broken and everyone has their own free will. That specific scene with Shinji reaching out to Kaworu and saving him from that endless cicle of death and rebirth must be one of my favorites, that touched me on a spiritual level that omg. i cryNow they can finally have their happy ending with no one dying. This time was Shinji's turn to save Kaworu.Even though it had a much needed happy ending, I still got sad and depressed. Thinking back about everything they had to go through, loop after loop, to finally reach this finish line. All that’s left now is go back and read again all that’s been left for us.Since Griffith is such an important character for me, the tale of a hero who became a devil, I wanted to show off more of his ugly sides. The first signals of madness growing in him, trying to reach the power he so desired through manipulation, murders, blackmailing, lust, and so many more, all in the name of his dream. Only to lead to his downfall.Griffith is such a complex and well written character. Even though I hate him so much in the most recent arcs, I can’t help but admire how well structured he is. The song choice was inspired by a Warrior Cats animatic I watched a month ago about Ashfur and for some reason, the lyrics and even the animation itself made me think a lot of Ikuya and his desire to be with Haru, but then, Rin joins the fight. Kinda of an AU which Rin actually never left to Australia and he got really close to Haru, but when Haru met Ikuya again after six/seven years, he can't stop thinking about him (which are the little flashbacks at 0:13 and 0:17) and even though Rin is ''a man of many tricks and tools'' he can't seem to shake Haru off of his will to be with Ikuya. Ikuya whatsoever is still hurt after their highschool bickering and even though he wants to be close to Haru again he doesn't want to hurt himself anymore as he think Haru is better off with Rin. But at the same time, he's jealous.Another thing I tried to show (even if little) is that Ikuya is always alone and in the dark unlike Rin and Haru which are always in open areas, running around and traveling.Jesus Christ this turned out to be a really long desc. sorry.If any of you out there got the idea without reading, you deserve a trophy for understanding my messy edit.
