This culminates in his decision to poison his half-sister Sorrelkit, both to silence her and hurt their mother Wilowpelt. Darkstripe doesn't see the wrong in what he's done until it's too late and he's trapped, rotting away for eternity, with Tigerstar, who neglects even to offer him companionship in The Place of No Stars.
