Bike Ride around Washington DC Austin Sersen 2024-02-29 | I was connecting from Union Station to DCA airport and took the scenic route with my Gopro! This is probably hands-down the best way to do it...not stuck in traffic, and still able to fit in so many sights in only 90 minutes. From the White House to the Capitol building, the National Mall to Georgetown, and finally down the final stretch along the Mount Vernon Trail. If every US city had this high quality of active and public transit infrastructure, I might not have abandoned the USA. Edmontons North Saskatchewan River Valley Austin Sersen 2024-02-01 | Everyone raves about Edmonton's River Valley. Are they right? Did I go to the wrong area? I'm just not seeing what they see. The path is extremely bumpy, it's very disconnected, and wayfinding is practically nonexistent...I couldn't believe it was dirt on the south side of the river near the Capital Line LRT bridge. The Bow River Pathway in Calgary is superior in every metric!
