#sponsored #callofduty #blackops6Shadow of the Erdtree - Top 10 Most Annoying EnemiesThe Escapist2024-06-28 | Elden Ring is tough and its DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is even tougher, but what makes it so challenging? Outside of the main bosses and traversal, which enemies are stopping us in our tracks? I've compiled a list of the most difficult (and annoying) enemies to deal with! On their own, they may not be so bad but when you have a group of them, the difficulty takes it up a notch. A lot of patience will be needed in dealing with these enemies but get through them and you are on your way to mastering the DLC!

Even the central focus of puzzle solving and ghost-catching are fun on their own. However, I cannot possibly overstate how much of the joy gets sucked out by its strict adherence to a completely linear chapter progression. It’s like a hospital painted in vibrant colors. It does a lot to brighten things up, but you can only do so much to counterbalance the sterility.

Elden Ring was so great because of its massive scope and ambitious open world, making exploration feel so rewarding. Does that continue in the DLC? Let's find out.

Not only was the reveal trailer looking dark and gritty like many Gears fans requested, but it also featured a much younger Marcus and Dom together in a prequal centered around E-Day, also known as Emergence Day. This isn't a Gears 6 with Kait and the new COG...this is the Gears of War we deserve and have been wanting for years. And Xbox finally listened!
Realistic-looking graphics are great, but does it come at a cost? Are AAA games suffering from our preoccupation with high graphic fidelity? Lately, the gaming discourse has been centered around AAA gaming not being sustainable because of the cost and time it takes to make them, and developers are likely to take less risk because of how much money is involved. This video discusses AAA games taking less risk and why graphic fidelity could be the main culprit.

Gears of War fans have long awaited its return and it would be a shame for Xbox to fumble this next entry in terms of hype, presentation, and compelling story that makes us care about these characters again. With how much the gaming landscape has changed, it's important for Xbox to get this one right so that gamers are excited to invest in Xbox again!

Titles such as Lords of the Fallen and Lies of P have contributed to what we know as the Souls-like genre and it's not slowing down anytime soon. However, the growth of the genre has caused gamers and journalists to give the souls-like tag to games where it doesn't belong. Stellar Blade has been the most recent and we discuss why it's dangerous to call it a souls-like, when it's not.

To celebrate the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remaster, we’re ranking every title in the series from worst to best.
In the annals of gaming history, there exists a cherished concept that seems to be slipping away: great pacing. Once upon a time, games were crafted with meticulous care, offering repayable experiences that beckoned players back for more. However, in the modern era, a trend has emerged where games are becoming bloated behemoths, with worlds too vast and filled with repetitive content. The art of creating games with great pacing seems to be fading into obscurity.

The world is beautiful, recruiting is fun, and there are plenty of minigames to sink time into if you’d like. I just wish its story had more meat to it rather than feeling like a generic tale I’ve heard time and time again. It is good, but just don’t expect to be blown away by some epic saga that will have you on the edge of your seat. Also, get used to dying because you will, a lot. If you’re a fan of classic ’90s JRPGs, I’d recommend it, and even if you’ve never played one but like JRPGs like Octopath Traveler, you’d probably find it fun.

With the release of Godzilla Minus One last year and the more recent Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, satisfying your cinematic Godzilla cravings has never been easier. However, amidst discussions comparing these two films, there's a regrettable tendency to dismiss Godzilla x Kong as if it never should have been made, simply because Godzilla Minus One, which won an Oscar, is considered superior – and rightly so. Yet, this doesn't mean there isn't space in our vast cinematic universe for both versions of Godzilla to stomp across our screens.

Just like its predecessor, it's a confident, self-assured game made by a team that was clearly unwilling to compromise or water down its vision for the sake of modern conveniences we've gotten so used to, and it's a better game for that. There are stumbles, yes, but Dragon's Dogma 2 has also quickly proven itself to be one of the most refreshing fantasy RPGs I've played in years. #dragonsdogma2 #dragonsdogma #rpg

As physical sales decline and an increasing number of publishers eschew physical media releases, fundamental questions arise regarding ownership rights. Are consumers truly owners of their digital content, or are they subject to the discretion of platform holders who can revoke access at will? Unfortunately, the latter. #physicalgames #gaming #gamingcollection
