Josh Garrels 2019-10-31 | I love my work, and because of this, for years I’ve invested huge amounts of my energy, my focus, my time, and my lifeblood into each project I’ve created. I zealously burned my candle at both ends, until all that was left was a smoldering wick. I burned MYSELF out. Physical breakdown and deep-seated anxiety and fear followed (mental and spiritual breakdown). From this place of desolation, the only way to move forward was to find a life and power that didn’t originate in me, and drink of it daily. This is one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned, and I’m still learning - “It’s no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me.” Gal 2:20 From this place, strivings cease, and one can work heartily from a place of deep-seated peace. ~ Josh
