Apologies for the stutter, I was too lazy to record this on my external hard-drive since it was too goofy to justify.Sky Rogue Alpha 18 - Locked and LoadedFractal Phase2014-03-29 | Download it here! http://nihilocrat.itch.io/sky-rogue
Music: Breaknoise - YouBURN_TIME (Ludum Dare 27)Fractal Phase2013-08-25 | This is a game I made for Ludum Dare 27. The theme was "10 seconds".
A mysterious catastrophe has befallen the colony. You must rescue as many people as possible, but you only have 10 seconds of fuel on your rocket.
You'll have to make the right decisions.

The day / night cycle is also in, advancing really really quickly just to show off the lighting changes.
News and updates: http://www.indiedb.com/games/swoooordsPolemos - a medieval RTS - Total War LiteFractal Phase2013-02-25 | The idea for this had been in my head for a few years, I decided to take the code from Her Majesty's Royal Space Armada and modify it heavily so I could have a medieval, melee-oriented RTS. Main inspiration comes from the Total War series and Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns.
Heavier armor will weigh you down and make your dodges much shorter and slower. SWOOOORDS! Colon Lords of the Sword is a 4-player cooperative dungeon crawling action game made in Unity 3D, similar to games like Gauntlet or Golden Axe. It is intended to be played together with friends in the same physical space ("hotseat"), such as on an arcade machine, on a projector at videogame-themed events, or even just on a couch.
The game tries its hardest to focus on having "brutally fair" combat. You can take very few hits, but have an arsenal of attacks, blocks, counters, and dodges to avoid damage while dishing it out. Enemies telegraph their attacks very obviously, so the player should always know that any hit they take could have been avoided.SWOOOORDS! Beta 4Fractal Phase2012-08-05 | Just felt like doing a new video since I haven't made one for quite a long time. One of the major things you'll see here is the Wrath meter, which increases as you fight and heals you if you kill someone while it's full. It drains completely if you don't keep attacking, so it rewards an aggressive playstyle.
- Tier 3 swords. These are legendary weapons that give their wielders powerful replacements for their dodge and charge attack abilities, but require them to learn new styles of fighting. - Complete do-over of most sounds (Bonus points if you can tell where I ripped some of them from!) - Some new enemies, nothing too amazing... yet. - Destructibles! Boom! Smash! Pow! - Other stuff I can't remember.SWØØØØRDS! Colon Legends Colon The GameFractal Phase2011-12-12 | This is a game I have been making for about a month for a 4-player arcade machine. It's primarily influenced by classic beat-em-ups like Golden Axe and Gauntlet. It's also got a bit of subtle inspiration from more modern games like Spiral Knights.

For some reason none of the capturable objectives appeared in the standalone build, but they haven't been reimplemented yet anyways.
The ships themselves still use the old combat code which basically reduces control to "throw a bunch of ships at the other ships and let them duke it out". I am working on an entirely new combat system that will require you to pay attention to range, squad orientation, target priority, and stuff like that to make it a bit more interactive.
