DavidBoth Raikou and Entei are roaming Pokemon.
To encounter them you must be in the same route as they are.
Since they teleport somewhere else every time you enter a new route, you have to pick ANY route and go back and forth.
Check your PokeGear to see if they teleported in the same route as you.
If they are go into some grass and make sure you use some repel.
You know when you encounter it because the music will change.
Raikou & Entei will try to run away on the first turn.
So use one of these moves to prevent them from running away:
Mean Look
Block
Spider Web
Also some Pokemon with abilities and moves can prevent escape too.
Make sure you have about 20 ULTRA or FAST Balls.
If one of them uses ROAR you will have to find it again.
There is no way to stop this from happening.
The Pokemon will not recover in the next encounter(s).

I used Dusk Balls here because it is in a cave. and that works.
Get around 30 i guess. More if you wanna make sure
NOTE: It is unedited so this is how long I tired to catch it.Pokemon Soulsilver / HeartGold - Finding ArticunoDavid2010-04-25 | SORRY FOR THE LAG IN THE VIDEO. MY VIDEO RECORDER SLOWS DOWN THE GAME.
Anyways. This is how to find Articuno.
You MUST obtain ALL 16 badges for it to appear.Pokemon SoulSilver - Catching LatiosDavid2010-04-09 | If you may have noticed, there is lag in the audio. I know. Don't comment on that stuff. Anyways use Ultra Balls or (maybe) Gender Balls if your pokemon are female.
I used sleep because Latios knows Refresh. It wont be able to use Refresh if its asleep. If you use PAR, PSN, etc, it could use Refresh and get annoying.Pokemon Soulsilver / HeartGold - How to unlock and find Latios/LatiasDavid2010-04-09 | Heres the video on unlocking and finding Latios and Latias.
In SoulSilver you will be able to catch Latios
In HeartGold you will be about to catch Latias.
You need a Soul Dew to catch the other counterpart.
Same steps as to this video on finding it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DRKovGKYX0Pokemon SoulSilver / HeartGold Catching SuicuneDavid2010-04-03 | Unlike the other dogs, Entai and Raiku, Suicune does not run away and stays in one place. After you meet Suicune in route 14, you find it standing near Bill's house.
The emulator that I'm playing on right now is VERY laggy and I'm trying to fix this problem. This is why I might post future videos a little late.Pokemon SoulSilver Catching HO-OH ENGLISHDavid2010-03-26 | Bring LOTS of Ultra Balls/Heavy Balls
Or if your fighting it at night, Dusk Balls
After getting the Rainbow Feather from an old geezer in Pewter City you can access the Bell Tower where you will find HO-OH.
How to find ho-oh:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBw_IkjV_1U
HO-OH's moveset:
Ancient Power (Rock)
Sacred Fire (Fire)
Safeguard (Support)
Punishment (Dark)
Use False Swipe to get its HP to the lowest. Otherwise it can be pretty hard to catch. Statues it so the catch rate goes up. (SLP/PAR Recommended) After that, just hope for the best.
I used about 40 Pokeballs and 13 attempts. I sucked.Pokemon SoulSilver / HeartGold - Finding HO-OH (Bell Tower)David2010-03-26 | SORRY FOR THE BAD CUTS/FADES/ETC.
Get the Rainbow Feather from an old guy in Pewter City (For SoulSilver)
In HeartGold you get it after you beat Team Rocket in the Radio Tower.
Anyways, go through the tower and climb up without a hassle. Unlike me, I had to go back and forth getting lost...
At the top of the tower there will be HO-OH if you have the Rainbow Feather.
The Video of me Catching HO-OH is right here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBw_IkjV_1UPokemon SoulSilver / HeartGold - Final Battle Vs. RedDavid2010-03-20 | The final battle against the Pokemon master.
NOTE!
This guy is NOT Ash.
Red was made BEFORE Ash. Red is the main character in the manga "Pokemon Adventures". This manga later became an ANIME. The main character of the anime is ASH. BUT Ash is BASED off RED and is not EXACTLY Red. Red started off with a BULBASAUR not a PIKACHU.
This goes the same for BLUE as he started with a CHARMANDER not a SQUIRTLE.
Besides that. the games Red and Green (In Japan) came out one year BEFORE the anime was even aired. So back then, he is RED and not ASH.
You can fight Red right after you get all 16 Gym Badges.
Go talk to Professor Oak and he'll give you the okay to enter Mt. Silver.
There, you will find Red on top of its peak
I'll make a video on how to get there later on.
You can fight Red once again if you battle the Elite Four again.
He will be at the same place with the same Pokemon. NOTHING CHANGES.Pokemon SoulSilver Blue - Earth BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | You can find him at Viridian City AFTER you beat all other 15 Gym Leaders and talking to him on Cinnibar Island. This guy man... really hard to beat if your Pokemon are underleveled. Anyways, he doesn't stick to any type so just go with the flow. Enjoy in ENGLISH.Pokemon SoulSilver Brock - Boulder BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PASS THE SNORLAX , I WILL MAKE A VIDEO... Later.
Find him in Pewter City. Brock man... no one messes with him. Anyways use ice/water stuff like that to damage this hard headed Pokemon. Enjoy in ENGLISHPokemon SoulSilver Blaine - Volcano BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Find him in Seafoam Island.
Don't know much of this guy...
He uses fire pokemon.
He only has three pokemon but they are high level so be prepared.
After you beat Blaine make sure you go talk to Blue on Cinnabar Island to make him go back to his gym.
Enjoy in ENGLISH.Pokemon SoulSilver Misty - Cascade BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Find her in Cerulean City.
Misty... Looks nothing like in the anime/cartoon. WTF. She looks way better in the game...
Anyways, we know good ol' Misty. She uses water pokemon.
Just ZAP them like I did in this video. Or you can go do the un-fun way and use grass...
She suppose to be forth gym but I fight her as my fifth.
Enjoy in ENGLISHPokemon SoulSilver Janine - Soul BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Find her at Fuchsia City.

Enjoy in ENGLISH.Pokemon SoulSilver Erika - Rainbow BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Find her at Celadon City.
Ekrika uses grass type pokemon.
Shouldn't be too hard because flying/ice/fire etc are effective.
Enjoy in ENGLISH.Pokemon SoulSilver Sabrina - Marsh BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Find her in Saffron City. Her Psychic Pokemon have really high Special Def. try to use PHYSICAL attacks. If possible, use a Dark type pokemon as Psychic moves does NOT have ANY effect on Dark types. Enjoy in ENGLISH.Pokemon SoulSiver Lt. Surge - Thunder BadgeDavid2010-03-19 | Not really much to say...
This is the first gym.
You can fight Surge in the city right after you land on Vermillion City taking the S.S ship.
Lt. Surge has ELECTRIC POKEMON. So ground types would be extremely effective.
I didn't really train my Pokemon till later on in the game.
Anyways enjoy in English.Pokemon SoulSilver Catching EnteiDavid2010-03-18 | The guide on how to catch these type of Pokemon is right below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DRKovGKYX0
