In this video, we take the VSKYLABS SR-71 transcontinental, with a Mach 3 flight from Palmdale, California (KPMD), to Washington DC (KIAD).

We'll depart off Plant 42's runway 07 and head out to rendezvous with our KC135 tanker. Once our tanks are topped off, we'll accelerate the SR-71 through to Mach 3 and launch the aircraft up through 70,000ft. Passing over the ground at some 2,000mph, we'll cross the continental United States in a little over 1 hour; landing in Washington, not long after we departed the West Coast.

Operation Overlord was launched on 6 June 1944 (D-Day). A 1,200-plane airborne assault preceded an amphibious assault involving more than 5,000 vessels. Nearly 160,000 troops crossed the English Channel on 6 June, some 13,100 of them, American paratroopers from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions.

In this video, we take accurately recreate the routing of the 87th Troop Carrier Squadron, on their flight to deliver the 101st Airborne Division into Normandy.

We'll be using the superb, freeware, Aeroworx C-47 Skytrain, within X-Plane 12, departing and arriving from Orbx's Old Warden (EGTH).

In this flight, we take the IXEG 737 on a short hop from London's Gatwick airport (EGKK) up to Edinburgh (EGPH), using a fully-modded X-Plane 12.

We'll depart out of Gatwick, runway 26L. Head out over the city of London, cruising at FL340 and then shoot the ILS approach onto runway 24 at Edinburgh. As always, we'll aim to try and keep the flight as realistic as possible, using real world, checklists, procedures, charts etc.

In this video, we take to the skies in the DC Designs FGR.2 Phantom, within Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). We'll be starting on the ground at RAF Honington (EGXH), preparing our jet for the intercept of a Russian TU95 "Bear", which has been picked up on radar, approaching UK airspace.
