Spriter Gors
Super Metroid music (Lower Brinstar) in 8-bit
updated
This is another VHS tape that I had lying around in my house. I had it ripped for your enjoyment.
This time around the man edited the mid portion out, ruining the file. He had to rip it again and even then 3 minutes of footage went mute. I digitally replaced it with a replacement audio to compensate.
This one is even older than the first VHS I had it ripped, so there may be video artifacts and skips. But I hope you'll enjoy it.
This video is for historical purposes. I earn no profit nor claim any part of this video as my content.
To commemorate the 12th anniversary of my first Bandcamp album, I made my first 5 albums available for free! Please enjoy my music as much as I enjoyed composing them.

This is a soundtrack composed by me in 2010 for a game concept about sharks and Super Sentai. I worked on the music while [fish in space] and other members from The Spriters Resource did the design and artwork. I never saw the finished product and it's been more than 10 years since I've composed this OST so I guess it's fine to reveal it.
These are the fanfares, in order: Level Complete, Miss, Game Over. I personally like the Level Complete fanfare.

This is the credits theme. A fun song after so much effort!

This is a theme for other screens, like shops or cutscenes. You might have heard this theme in other OSTs I've made, this is because I was inspired by Kazumi Totaka who hid his theme in almost every game he worked on. This theme was one of my very first original compositions and has been remade in several styles as I created more and more OSTs.

This is the menu theme. This was when I wanted to compose long and developed themes for single-screen menu screens. I still like this concept but I admit it's probably not a good usage of time...

This is the high-tech factory theme. You might have heard this theme in my other OSTs, this is because I loved this theme so much that I wanted to include it in other projects. I didn't want this theme to go to waste!

This is the sewer level theme. As you follow the fleeing enemies, you find yourself in the sewer system of a metropolis. The awful smell of sewage and narrow passageways make this a dangerous place.

My latest Chiptune City Pop Album is here, full of catchy and upbeat songs rendered using the nostalgic Famicom/NES sound chip! Combining my love for 80’s aesthetics, retro games and city pop, I have written each cover manually on Famitracker and accompanied it with a colorful retro style pixel art.
Each track was meticulously selected to ensure that my favorite singers and fan favorites were properly represented, and designed to sound as close and full as possible to the source material. Long time fans of the genre will be able to sing along to the entire song and enjoy the tracks in a completely different perspective that is just as charming as the original.
All tracks have been remastered to sound better than the versions published in my older albums, and new tracks were added to sweeten the deal. You'll hear familiar showstoppers on this compilation and experience some surprisingly good hidden gems too. You might even find your new favorite city pop song on here!
The MMC5 chip adds two extra pulse wave channels to the Famicom/NES’s base sounds, giving it more nuance to the composition while retaining the familiarity to listeners the world over.
Thanks for your support, and I hope you will enjoy this album!

Thanks to the original artists who made such incredible music, and to my fans, who follow my work on Bandcamp, YT and Twitter.
