Renoden 2016-08-19 | I have to go back to school a week early because I have an IT job at my college so I thought I'd end the summer with a voicebank release. I really postponed this voicebank since the start of 2016 but never came around recording the last two pitches nor worked on its oto until now. I spent the last three days just otoing and adjusting and since I'm running out of time, I rushed a drawing in 10-15 minutes (bad anatomy since I didn't have time to go back and adjust it and be cleaner with the lineart lol) Anyways, if you can find it in your heart to ignore the bad anatomy, I'd be grateful.

anyways, this song came out almost a week ago and as soon as it came out I wanted to try covering it because the lyrics are so relate-able... egotist lol

and that una hat... is that a bird? a duck? it's definitely.... unique. Una on the other hand sounds cool! But... definitely more of a higher octave, powerful vocaloid because her lows sound just a bit too nasally for my taste, reminds me of myself haha.

Renoden 2015-01-07 | gomengomen for not being around the last few months, lately stuff has been going on specifically the week before Christmas and I just couldn't find the time to do what I love doing. Just wanna cry right now... anyways!

This voicebank was recorded awhile ago with my LogiTech headsets, but I want to try to get all my current voicebanks released before making more with my Blue Yeti. Thank goodness Essence was the only VCV Append I managed to record so once I oto this, Miso's set for her previous voicebanks then onto my other characters.

Sorry for the strange sounds in the vocals, trust me, it's not the voicebank, resampler tnd_s was being a pain but I still think Miso's Essence sounds best with it.

I got some usts to release that I've done almost two years ago but waited around for some of my friends' banks but it seems life caught on with them too so I'll just make another ust if they ever do come to make their banks.
Hopefully my next ust release, waiting due to life situations otherwise I'd post it by next week LOL, will be in February, wait for then!

So I've been doing this for three weeks but as soon as I started making it I realized, the tempo to the song and the vocal tempo are not exactly the same so I dug myself into a hole and cried as I made this.

I wanted to actually make this a chorus but then I decided since the original was between the main Vocaloid2 group and some V3, I thought it'd be organized if I just did it with an utau group. I would have done it with the vippas but... can't say I love the last vippa like all the other ones.

so again the test dummies for this were from my group because then if I messed up, no one gets embarrassed but my utaus YUP!

....about the ust...well...that's a wreck and 13 parts just don't make good soup..... Plus in the middle where GUMI,Kaito,MEIKO,Gakupo, and Luka all harmonized with different melodies I threw my computer against the wall because I had no clue what Luka's part was exactly so I winged it and guessed a melody that could be there. YE SMART OF MEH//-HEADSHOT-

anyways, will the ust be released??
well...maybe. A REALLY ALMOST IDK MAYBE because if you were to use the ust, you will have to edit the spacing between the voices and actually not render, paste, and render mix. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SPEND SOME TIME FOR THIS, and with 13 voices... it can be tedious. But on a majority scale, most of the parts are aligned so the spotlight voice parts are pretty accurate, give and take the tempo I was using did not comply AT ALL to the voice tempo.

so then you get back, will it be released?
Probably not to the public...probably a private ust that when I give people the ust I will confirm they know to put effort into editing the parts into the correct timings otherwise I won't give it to them. I mean, I spend 3 weeks on this... I honestly don't want someone to ignore everything I'm saying that might help them when they use my usts then shake my head when they release a mixing containing all those mistakes I tried to explain to them earlier.

besides all of that pain and suffering, it was fun Q u Q

and the true end was interesting...so I'll happily post this video as, it's done and over with, NEVER AGAIN.

I picked this song for two reasons;
1. the song is beautiful, perfect for my interpretation of Reno.
2. the notes are high so it uses B4.

I debated with myself whether to use Reno or Miso, but decided with Reno because her voice is more powerful than Miso and this song I believe should be powerful.
Of course if Rari's V3 were all recorded and exactly the way I wanted it, then she'd be the one to cover this song hands down instead.

Renoden 2014-05-24 | ASDFGHJKL Orii-san told me about the full version of this song and I was like, * ^ * OMG NOW I CAN FINISH IT.

Still didn't bother trying to find the right timing so there's a section to the ust that needs to be cut just a bit closer OTL, but at least the lyrics are right this time!

As promise, I told you guys I'd release the ust since both the lyrics and off vocal were released * ^ * Dx though just a week ago I released the early version and short of it ust because I thought the full song would never get released, WRONG AGAIN ME //SHOT.

The harmonies sound so weird Dx but that's what I barely could make out in the official harmony track... not going to question that,

Anyways, now that I rambled on about the song long enough, time to actually mention the voicebank stages though FUUUU like I want to talk about something like that e .e

First Reno, her beta voicebank now has 3 pitches, 2 more to go WOOO more pain //shot. A4 pitch, her highest pitch can be heard just a little bit, sounds really different than her regular voice so it's easy to spot LOL I think I might be able to count it as her power pitch since it's not a falsetto voice. The other pitch was recorded a few days ago called the C4↓. Unfortunately when I hear the A3 pitch of my voice, it does a character change over. Therefore the lowest pitch that sounds like Reno would be C4, the down means it's meant for lower pitches than C4 and is considerably softer than all the other pitches. Of course you can guess what C4↑, pitches above C4 but before E4, definitely stronger toned. G4 will be the singing pitch.

Now Miso, but I'm looking forward to doing Miso more than Reno haha because I have less voice expectation of her because she's another character and less of a character self. Only one pitch has been recorded so far.
She will be my only character with a falsetto high, just because it matches her voice configurations better than a power high.

FUN I'm going to struggle with more A4 and C5 recording pitches for my other characters like I did with this one for Reno WOOOO~ //shot

Renoden 2014-03-23 | I feel so bad!! x,D I haven't even finished otoing V2 and releasing it yet but I made a V3....
My new blue yeti microphone came in on Friday so I recorded a new bank... Now the question is... Am I going to record new banks for all my characters?.... -All my characters' current banks are recorded with logitech clearchat.-

I can say this...
Blue Yeti Mic muffled my voice so much more than the logitech, BUT
gives Reno a softer tone -not as sharp sounding.- Plus, I can fix that with some equalization effects...
It turned Tsundere Reno into a not as tsundere Reno Dx .... jkjk reminds me of Reno's CV 4.3 I recorded with my dynamic microphone so it's fine with me.
The quality's pretty good for a usb microphone, though I somewhat perfer logitech clearchat's high pass fliter because it was much more crisper. I do like the fact it's made of metal so it won't break so easily c:

BUT I will try to finish otoing the rest of the banks I have before going nuts with the new microphone and that includes Reno's V2.... That might take awhile...

Anyways....
The bank V3 is in beta staging because it only has an E4 pitch for now. I'm going to try for five or six pitches.
I realized Reno sounds best with multiple pitches than just one because it sounds the least nasally.
-NEVER GONNA GO FOR A 9-PITCH EVER AGAIN... AT LEAST NOT NOW because they take forever to oto....-

yea, I heard the song the day after it was posted, Feb 18 and fell in love with these new twins x,D mostly Kanon.

After a week of listening to their demo song I finally got enough determination to attempt making a ust to it,

x,D The timing... it was horrible and it still sounds bad.
I could understand maybe 1/4 of what they were saying, the rest I couldn't tell so I guessed at the sounds and plus I could barely tell who was singing in which parts x,DD

Renoden 2013-11-05 | Would you guys believe me that I made this UTAU by mistake? x,D I was actually trying to record for Raira, but I was not entirely satisfied with her voice so out of spite/because I was bored, I added a g flag and moved the octave down 12 and got this voice lololol
8D I doubt I might record further than this since this is already a VCV bank and this voice wasn't easy to achieve exactly though it sucks for the character I was trying to act like -3-... I won't take genderbenders, but I'll make a whole new characer for this voice.

I wasn't in the mood to go name hunting for three hours, so I did a play on words again .w.
this time his name means (riku) shore/land (mi) beautiful (arata) new/fresh. So if you wanna joke it's, New beauty of land :D now you know how creative I can be when I'm bored.... T-T still disappointed...This is the 2rd time I've recorded a bank for Raira, but I ended up giving it up to one of my other utaus since it fits them better... and even in this case made a new utau.... and I was against making a green utau character but I ended up doing it anyways TwT More importantly because I was lacking an actual masculine voice, I had to do something... And the colors that were left were green and purple... I don't think my male utau will appreciate being forced to wear purple if he didn't have to so I swallowed my dislike and made him green... I was going to give him green eyes but that'd be too much green -w-U I wanted to try blue too, but I already have a blue eye character... Blood red who isn't freaked out by blood red eyes? :D just joking. After I decided his eyes colors, only certain colors would match both green and red...leaving me to make his hair black or white...Then I'm staring at my sketch of him and imaging him with white hair... No. Just doesn't fit his image... He'll start looking like a christmas tree soon...-weeps in the corner- That's it, the rest of the colors for his design beside the green and dark grey will be silver or gold color... Now I'm really making him resemble Christmas :,,,,,D What am I doing?! Everything I said I didn't want him to be I'm subconsciously doing it... ugh...

Renoden 2013-10-23 | Due to school and all that tedious work, I haven't uploaded a video since the summer. Luckily I didn't have homework over a few days including the weekend and was able to record a new vcv bank. I'm still otoing the thing and I'm dying in the process....

I tried a few songs, but this voicebank isn't made for above C5... It can, it definitely can, but it doesn't sound as good as along the E4. So it shortened some of the songs I wanted to try....I do not think I'll rerecord Reno's altos and basso for a while since I still got a lot of junk to do... UGHH I want the summer to come already... Or at least a holiday vacation week... I'll just call this my Oct. Bank :D or my VCV ACT2, whichever comes first...
I hate the mixing, adding the echo effect only made her sound too small and distant in this song... It sounds so... ugh no comment... My next mixing will be better... I hope x,D or I can pick a song that'll be easier to mix because this one wasn't exactly easy... To my ears, it's like off by a mile, but when I tried moving the track back or forward a bit, It made it worse so I'm sticking to this.

THE GOOD THING IS, I made a new design for the bank :,D and I don't feel like tearing off her clothing and starting over like I usually do...

Anyways, the series is awesome, though the ending was a bit expected and disappointing.
None of Rinato's Appends are ready to be released yet, but Reno's are.
