Very good version of the game. I've heard there are some issues with the PS4 version, but hopefully they will be patched out soon enough.
This is an upload of my livestream of the game. I do use the rewind feature several times but usually only in attempting hard strats. If that bugs you, sorry. Not really though.

I've gotten this question several times, and I figure it will probably just continue, so I might as well just make a little video explaining exactly how to do it.
github.com/sneakyevil/SD-ModMenu
If you're curious about the mod menu itself, I did a video exploring its features: youtu.be/jUn8Mrncnl4
Taken from the lead audio director on the project, Bradley D. Meyer's, website. http://www.bradleymeyer.com/wp-core
This video was compiled to make watching and learning about the amazing sound design process of the game/studio simple; the creativity on display lies solely with those involved, such as the Reverend himself, and I take zero responsibility for the work seen here. I just wanted to hopefully spread what I found to be very interesting pieces, with no desire to monetize. Please check out the website listed above to read the blog posts associated with each video as well as a lot more interesting stuff including interviews and other great YouTube videos that I will not be reuploading.
00:00 - Tibetan Mastiff
00:52 - Warhorn
01:19 - Sword Impacts
03:31 - Capturing the Ambience
06:57 - Bloopers
08:59 - The Mix
How to install it: youtu.be/FhvbNQn4t70
I tried to show off every feature of the mod menu, though a few things to note.
1) The game crashed 3 times while recording, twice while trying to spawn certain NPCs (afterwards I disabled a setting on the mod menu itself to prevent this crashing), one of these crashes was edited out entirely; and again while spam spawning pedestrian NPC models.
2) Because there are so many varieties of pedestrians, cars and special effects(?) that you can spawn, I did not go through them all.
3) I accidentally gave myself 2 achievements (achieve level 5 face, achieve level 10 face) as well as getting the achievement for using 10 different melee weapons to defeat enemies. I don't see it as a big deal but if you do, I'm sorry.
The Sleeping Dogs Mod Menu is a relatively new tool from sneakyevil and others. It can be downloaded at github.com/sneakyevil/SleepingDogs-ModMenu Instructions for its installation are on that page as well, I did have to use the original 1.0 executable for the game in order for it to not crash.
This video was recorded on PC using v1.4.2 of the Mod Menu.
Music used at the end of the video is:
"Soft Room" by Lorn from the Sleeping Dogs OST
"The Crossing" by Celestial from the Sleeping Dogs OST

Weeb in the corner/Discord pings are Nisha. Didn't record my own voice because that's just not how Nvidia's instant replay works I guess.

I'm not going to play this game anymore. Based on the ending, it doesn't respect my time. The stories it tells leading up to that ending are good enough; the story of Ellie, a person with such high self-worth (she's immune, and that has to mean something, right?) that she will kill, not just kill but torture, anyone in her way to get what she wants. You'd think she wants revenge but it's not about killing the person who killed Joel, it's about killing anyone who would stand in her way to do that. They're not as important as she is, and they dare try and stop her? And the game has the gall to try and make itself a message about violence being bad. I know, we all know. What a waste of potential. Then the sympathy it asks you to return to the game, to Ellie, at the end. After her decisions prior to and leading into Santa Monica. It's completely undeserved. She's an evil person who deserves no sympathy, and just because she let someone go, which doesn't even fit within her own simple narrative, it doesn't justify or even begin to forgive all of the terrible things she has done. Violence is and always was her end goal.
Abby's story is much stronger but I don't think the whole game is worth playing for that alone. To drag myself through the first half of the game, to only then be given the levity, brightness, hope, positivity and change of Abby's story, the story about finding herself not based on the tyranny of cultish group forces but leaving those forces, and bringing others with her out of those groups to make her own family and happiness... Abby's goal isn't violence. Violence is something that is thrust upon her. She doesn't go on some crusade to right the wrongs against her, it's justice. Perhaps a perverted form of justice, and nobody is perfect. But it's not the same thing Ellie does. It's not a non-specific swathe through hundreds of people that have little to do with what one other person did. Joel was Abby's goal, and after the death of her friends and family, Ellie is. And she still lets her live a second time. The confrontation is frustrating of course, any kind of dialogue between the two would clear up much confusion, and it is kind of the first nail in the coffin that proves much of this, much of the empathy that Abby may be able to elicit in the player, was likely unintentional. A total accident brought to life with incredible performances and fairly strong dialogue... but to finish this story, this second, better story contained on the same disc... the game asks too much. Because after it all to be taken back to Ellie, after she failed; she was a stupid, stupid teenager who lost another friend and nearly two more... and she gives that up, the out she was offered. She goes back for more. To continue her tirade against the one who disrespected her. It's still not really about Joel, it's about her own selfishness. And that's the final nail. That and the total mistreatment of one our protagonists, putting her through so much in some noninteractive off-screen time jump... it's disgusting and shameful. Nothing matters at that point because it happened without our involvement.
At the end of it all the stories are very similar, but Ellie's version doesn't bring enough exploration of the themes to the game to matter, while also bringing too much baggage, and the expectation that the player wants her to succeed. There is a greater than zero chance that the player would not want to avenge Joel; that was the point of the end of the first game. That's why it was so powerful. It didn't ask you to make a decision on whether you thought Joel was in the right. He made his decision, and it ends on that. You are meant to think on it. It's a character study more than a story. And if you disagreed with him... this game betrays that as soon as Ellie heads to Seattle.
There are no preconceptions about Abby. We know exactly everything we need to know about her within this single game, and this game never asks you to like her, it only asks you to try and understand her. And the game should be about her. But it doesn't end on her. It ends on Ellie. And her inability to separate herself from Joel, his guitar lingering in the frame, hovering over her as she walks through the wheat. Abby got over her loss of a father figure. And the game just doesn't get that. Something happened to ruin the ending of this game. Somehow they made a flawed game that led up to a near perfect conclusion but flubbed it by asking their employees to crunch out another several hours of gameplay, and it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Naughty Dog is often held to a high standard of storytelling but by the way they failed to even understand their own story they were telling with this game, it's clear they are undeserving of much of that praise. They make an incredibly polished playable experience but somehow they still do not have the expertise to wrap it up right. The ending is cruel to everyone who puts the time in to beat the game.
