When Will 4.0 Release? Checking in on 4.0 PTU Progress.

Hybrid V Audio 2024-12-08 | Star Citizen has had build 4.0 cooking the PTU for several months now. And with the end of the month, and subsequently, the end of the year on rapid approach. CIG is cutting it close with their deadline to get 4.0 out to LIVE before the holiday break.

In this video I do a simple cargo run to gauge how the progress for 4.0 is going and how stable the build is as CIG slowly works at it over time.

Would You Do This Job? Shuttle Pilot Co-op Gameplay | 4K 60FPS

Hybrid V Audio 2024-09-11 | Some highlights from a casual play session with the Forgotten Heralds. I decided to take on the role of Runabout pilot for our Carrack as we conducted various missions in the microTech area of Stanton.

Shuttle pilots are an interesting Star Citizen career. Being a part of the crew, helping conduct day to day operations while also being a good pilot that needs to ferry cargo and personnel from point A to point B is a major benefit for any large such as the Carrack. Shuttle work is probably one of the more interesting careers that we have seen naturally grow throughout Star Citizen's development. It will be interesting to see how it further develops down the line with 4.0 and beyond.

Is Racing Saved? Aegis Peregrine Review | Star Citizen

Hybrid V Audio 2024-09-04 | Star Citizen's 3.24 patch came with not only the important cargo and personal hangar update. It also came out with a slew of improvements for atmospheric flight for all ships, especially racing ships. As well as the ship we are reviewing today, the Sabre Peregrine by Aegis Dynamics. A pure bred racing ship from the Raven line of Sabres.

Since Master Modes, racing got a raw deal as the 3.23 update to the flight model was mostly centered around combat which left racing behind a bit. Now with the updated tunings in 3.24 and the incredible performance of the new Peregrine. Is racing finally back? Let's find out.

My Dream Space Trucker Game Just Dropped... | 4K 60FPS Gameplay

Hybrid V Audio 2024-08-29 | Star Citizen 3.24 just released, and with it came the anticipated hauling and cargo management update. Originally, when I got into Star Citizen I wanted to be a bounty hunter. But when I did my first cargo trade back when they first introduced cargo terminals I fell in love with the idea of space trucking. However, the process back then and for a long time until this point was largely a point and click adventure. Land, click the button to teleport cargo into the hold or sell it. Rinse and repeat. With 3.24 the entire process is either automatic (at capital cities with a timer) or manual as you will need to utilize your tractor beams aboard the ship or handheld ones to move and store the cargo.

This change has been incredible as it really dials in the immersion of buying and selling cargo, or being contracted delivery agent. In this video I do a simple non commentated playthough of the new cargo hauling missions.

The POWERFUL New Sounds of the Updated Aegis Retaliator | Star Citizen 3.23.1 PTU

Hybrid V Audio 2024-05-13 | Star Citizen's 3.23.1 PTU patch dropped an update for the Sabre Raven but also an update for the Retaliator. A heavy bomber that can be converted to a cargo or troop transport in a flash thanks its modular torpedo bays.

With this new update came some improved sounds for the Retaliator the audio team at CIG have been cooking up. The new sounds come as part of a overhaul from ship audio coming down the pipe that aims to make each manufacture have a unique audio signature unique to their brand for small, medium, and large vessels.

CIG plans on rolling out these new audio updates for every ship that gets an updated pass going forward.

Incredible New Sabre Raven Sounds | Star Citizen 3.23.1 PTU

Hybrid V Audio 2024-05-11 | On the 3.23.1 PTU. CIG added a pleasant surprise for current Sabre Raven owners. A brand new gold standard Sabre Raven. The standard Sabre got its gold standard pass some time ago which left many wondering why the Raven never got a gold standard pass as well. Now finally we have the raven getting its pass along with its audio updated.

This also leaves up in the air what the new Aegis ship CIG has been teasing. From many promos images on social media it looks like the Raven but with a different paint scheme and minus the holes in the wings.

The Doom and Gloom over Master Modes | Star Citizen 3.23

Hybrid V Audio 2024-04-21 | Recently, CIG asked for feedback regarding Master Modes in 3.23 EPTU and the initial wave was negative. This is largely due to the tunings not being complete, balance issues, and some issues with people simply not understanding the underlying changes to the flight model.

As someone with tons of hours within Master Modes, both from the AC experimental tests and within 3.23. I wanted to take the time to talk about the feedback, and pick through what was valid and what I felt wasn't and just talk a bit more openly about the changes coming to Star Citizen and why I think it is a critically important change for the game.

New Gladius Audio | Star Citizen 3.23 EPTU

Hybrid V Audio 2024-04-11 | With Star Citizen's 3.23 build finally hitting wave 1 in the PTU. One of the newest changes that has caught my attention is the inclusion of the Squadron 42 audio for the Gladius light fighter being ported over to the PU's version.

Star Citizen tends to have a quieter but much more dynamic mix range than other games of its type. These new sounds however, are much more louder in comparison, either due to CIG's new approach to audio, or simply an oversight that will be fixed. Either way, it is exciting to see what CIG's audio team will be cooking up for the future. Not just for the venerable Gladius, but other elements such as combat and other ships as well.

When will 3.23 go wave one?

Hybrid V Audio 2024-04-07 | Star Citizen's latest 3.23 update is one of the most anticipated patches in a long time. This leaves a lot of people wondering when the patch will at least hit wave one. I am incredibly impressed with patch 3.23 | Early Test Thoughts and Impressions

Hybrid V Audio 2024-04-01 | Over the weekend, CIG worked hard to get Star Citizen's latest 3.23 patch ready for behind close door testing. After many builds that suffered from stability issues, they finally got a stable build out for Evocati testers to really sink their teeth into this massive new update. In this video I talk about my experience with the build and relay my thoughts, impressions, and feedback concerning 3.23.

Just as a reminder, there is no footage of the actual playtest as I am bound by an NDA. However, CIG have changed the guidelines recently to allow playtesters to talk about their experiences with any Evocati builds. Remember that these builds are subject to change and my experiences may not necessarily reflect what will be in the LIVE build when the patch is released.

Hybrid V Audio 2024-03-17 | On Friday, CIG released a new hotfix that included the new Overdrive Initiative mission line. And the brand new Hornet F7C MK II which is a new version of the classic Hornet we've known for years. This update was both unexpected and also somewhat controversial. I wanted to take some time to give my impressions on the new platform and relay some of my concerns about what this means for ship sales going forward.
