This is my orchestral, cinematic cover of the classic original Knight Rider TV Theme tune of 1982. To celebrate it's 40th Anniversary.
I've recently become very nostalgic about my childhood decade (the 1980's) re-watching old movies, TV shows, collecting retro toys and games. I have previously done re-imaginings of the classic 'Masters of The Universe' cartoon theme tune (click here to listen) youtu.be/WlnTFCTcDjo

I really enjoyed the process so decided to give another amazing theme tune from my childhood the same treatment.

ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER:
David Hasselhoff stars as Michael Knight in his breakout role as a crime fighter who awakens from a serious injury with a new identity. In the series premiere, Las Vegas police detective Michael Arthur Long is shot in the face and left for dead before being rescued by dying millionaire Wilton Knight, the chairman of Knight Industries and creator of the public justice organization, the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG). Wilton makes Michael the primary agent for FLAG, giving him a new identity via plastic surgery and the name Michael Knight, plus an arsenal of equipment to continue his crime-fighting work. A GIFT OF INNOCENCE is a track from the brand new Epic Emotional Piano 3 album and published by Gothic Storm Music.
This track was composed for my son Aiden. I wrote the melody and chord sketch just after he was born inspired by the amazing and emotional experience it was to finally meet him. The intension was to finish the track when I had time and was getting some sleep. When I finally got round to developing the track I had started work on Epic Emotional Piano 3 and I thought it would be a perfect fit for the album.
Delicate piano expressing innocence, care and beauty builds in waves of heartfelt emotion to a climax of hope and positivity.
