Summer Sand Pudding! Natalia Simmons 2015-06-23 | Are you tired of bringing the same old desserts to your family dinners? You guys have GOT to try this one. The recipe for sand pudding has been in my family for years and I am happy to share it with you. A mixture of vanilla wafers & oreos create the sand and you pimp out regular pudding for this delicious, no-bake, summer dessert. You've got to try it!Here's the blog post: http://bit.ly/1LjwPjFHere's the recipe:1 pkg Vanilla Wafers3 or 4 Oreos8 oz Cream Cheese1/4 C Butter2/3 C powdered sugar2 small pkgs French Vanilla pudding mix2 3/4 C Milk12 oz Cool WhipCrush Oreos and Vanilla Wafers in a food processor. In a separate bowl, cream together softened 8 oz cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. In different bowl, mix the instant vanilla pudding with milk. Add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture. Fold in cool whip. Layer into buckets starting with the pudding, then sand and continue until you're at the top of your bucket!You can double the recipe if you have two buckets or a large one like in this video (although I didn't double it here, I could have). If you want to make it ahead of time, make the sand and the pudding portions separately and then assemble the day of the event. If you assemble too early the pudding with make the sand mushy. We bought a sand bucket specifically for this recipe and have never used it outside. Moving back to France Natalia Simmons 2014-09-02 | My family and I live in France 9-10 months out of the year. We travel back and fourth at least two times a year, sometimes more often! I took some video this last time around so you could travel to France with us! This one was 15 hours, 3 planes, 2 stops, and 5 carry on bags, and 4 checked bags that didn't make it until a day later!
