Ultimate Custom Night - 50/20 Mode Finally Beaten!!! (NO POWER-UPS)
updated
This stage was pretty easy...and forgettable. I'm glad it's in the game, but I honestly don't care for it. I just rushed through it and got the 60K+ score I wanted. It took me a few tries, though.
Anyway, Tails plays a lot better here than he did in the original. He's faster on the ground, he's easier to control in the air, and he has an actual gauge that lets you know how long you can fly. Plus, his bombs have a reticle now for easier aiming, even when sniping. He even has a new attack that uses his tails, which is nice, but I don't feel the need to use it most of the time.
Now, we can get to Shadow's stages! :D
It was mostly the Silver section that kept screwing me up. For some reason, I kept getting hit and losing my rings. It's not the stage's fault, though. I was just very unlucky. It didn't help that that section of the level lags a bit for some reason on my PC, especially when you throw multiple projectiles at once. :/
Still, this was a near perfect run. I meant to keep the combo at 5:18 going with a bounce attack, but I messed up and jump-dashed instead, so I lost 1400 points there. (Otherwise, I would have gotten 2900 points instead of 1500 points from 5:15 - 5:27.) It's not a big deal, though, since I still got a little over 100K. :) (Plus, I nearly lost my combo at 6:02!)
All in all, I'm quite pleased with this run. Now, all I have left is Tails's stage, and then it's Shadow's stages from here on out! :D
This one was a pretty easy stage, though the snowboarding controls are still kind of wonky. :(
This one took several attempts to do because I kept fucking up during the Mach Speed section, lol. XD
I barely got 60K. I'm fine with that. I don't need a higher score, though I could have gotten that if I had tried to. :)
This was a good run, aside from a few slip-ups. XD
This stage is very short and a lot of enemies can be bypassed entirely, so completing the stage as quickly as you can is NOT recommended if you want to get an S rank.
This stage is mostly the same as that of the original, aside from a few tiny changes. You can clear the stage almost as fast here. :)
I'm really liking Project 06 so far. It's everything that the retail game should have been...and more. :D
This was a pretty good run. I had a similarly high score in a different recording, but that run got sloppy towards the end, so I decided to rerecord the stage like the perfectionist I am...and I got an even better score this time. XD
I could even get very high scores on this stage in the original game (80K or so). The problem was just that it was very easy to lose all of your rings. In Project 06, it's not as bad, but you still have to be very careful. ;)
The poles you swing around in particular annoy me a lot. Maybe it's something on my end, but I can never get the timing just right (as you can see in the clip). It doesn't help that one of these poles is over a pit, so if you screw up, you die, and your run is ruined, which happened to me twice. I wish the game creator had stuck with springs instead, like in the original game.
Another thing that's annoying is the snowboarding controls. They're better here than in the original game, but they are still kind of wonky. It's kind of hard not to get hit in the first section of the level.
Still, this level is a SIGNIFICANT improvement over the one in the original game. :D
This was a pretty good run, aside from a hiccup or two. I'm used to getting very high scores like this even in the original game, but the shitty controls always made me lose all the rings I collected. ;_;
I'm happy to see that that's no longer the case with Project 06. :D
Anyway, just testing out my new gaming laptop and Xbox adapter! Both are working great! :D
I played this on the highest settings, for those of you who are wondering.

08:52 - Outro: How To Get The Special Edition Of The Game
Remember that the Wii version requires no code for the additional song. The disc just needs to have the Walmart seal on it. The PS3 version does require a working code, though.
NOTE: I forgot to mention this in the video, but be VERY careful about getting the special edition online. I've seen a listing or two on eBay that had the correct box cover art for the special edition, but the disc inside did NOT have the Walmart seal. MAKE SURE THAT THE DISK HAS THE WALMART SEAL. Ask for additional pictures of the entire product if necessary. Oh, and if you're looking for the glove, make sure it's actually present, too.
That Wii tracking, though... Am I right? XD
I actually beat Night 3 in two tries. It's really not that hard if you aren't going for perfection.

Strategies:
--Funtime Freddy--
1. Check the drawers for Bonnet regularly. If you see her, hold the flashlight on her until she disappears back into the drawers. You can even do this while holding the left or right doors closed.
2. Alternate checking the left and right bedroom doors regularly. Don't stay at a door too long. When you check a door, do NOT immediately flash your light. Wait a few seconds for breathing sounds. If there aren't any, then flash your light. (You might see Funtime Freddy at the end of the hall, which will cause him to run away for a bit.) If you do hear breathing sounds, hold the door closed until you hear Freddy's laugh. This means he left. Then, open the door and flash your light.
3. Listen for Bon Bon's footsteps. If you hear them, quickly go to the door that he ran to and use your flashlight. If you see him at the end of the hallway, close the door for a bit. Then, check the hallway again with your light to make sure he left.
4. Bon Bon and Bonnet can't kill you; they can only jumpscare you as a distraction. You don't want to be startled by them, though, as their jumpscares are quite startling and annoying.
5. Occasionally, Bonnet will appear in the closet. Run over to it and close the closet doors right away until you hear Freddy's laugh, indicating that he has left. You can check the closet doors with your flashlight before and after closing them to make sure that Freddy's there if you want, but it's not necessary.
--Nightmarionne--
1. Nightmarionne will not appear until the music box theme from FNAF2 starts playing.
2. Alternate between checking the left and right bedroom doors regularly. If you see a pair of white eyes closing in on you (or Nightmarionne himself if you're using the flashlight), shut the door.
3. Regularly flash the bed, ceiling, and closet to force Nightmarionne's tentacles to retract, switching between them as needed. You can even do this while having the door closed. Just be sure not to do it for too long.
--Circus Baby--
1. You will be in the closet the whole time. Watch Circus Baby closely. She will try to search the room for you. If she sees you, her eyes will turn red, and she will run towards your location. Hold the closet
2. Wait for Baby to get close to the closet and shut the closet doors. Hold the doors closed for 4-5 seconds before releasing them again. Not holding the closet doors shut long enough will result in a jumpscare from Baby.
3. Do NOT hold the closet doors for too long, or the plush babies inside will kill you. You can tell how close they are to killing you by the way they vibrate and make noise. The louder and shakier they get, the closer you get to being killed by them.
4. Occasionally, you might be out of luck. Baby might still be at the door after you have the doors closed for a while, and then you'll lose. It sucks.
--Nightmare Fredbear--
1. Alternate between checking the left and right doors regularly, listening for Nightmare Fredbear's footsteps. The direction of his footsteps indicate what door he's trying to enter the room from. If he's trying to enter the room from the left, you'll hear footstep sounds on the left.
2. When you see a pair of red eyes in the hallway, quickly flash the light before they get too close and shut the door. When you hear footsteps that diminish in volume, that means Fredbear left the door. Open the door and check with your flashlight to make sure he's gone before moving to the other door.
3. If you hear breathing at the door, that means that Fredbear is already at the door. Do NOT flash your light. Instead, close the door and wait for diminishing footsteps. Then, open the door and check the hallway with your light before moving to the other door.
4. If Fredbear laughs, then he's either on the bed or in the closet. If he's on the bed, turn around and flash your light on him until he vanishes. If he's in the closet, just shut the doors without using your flashlight, and he'll leave upon making footsteps that diminish in volume.
5. In VR mode, there's a bug that causes Fredbear to kill players once he enters the closet, regardless of what the player does. There's no surefire way to avoid this, other than getting lucky that Fredbear doesn't show up in the closet. In flat mode (no VR), the closet bug doesn't exist, so you can safely beat the minigame there if need be.
--Pizza Party--
I already covered the strategy for this minigame in the video. You can also check out DJ Sterf's guide for this minigame if you'd like: youtube.com/watch?v=3CEQiwMM4eQ
Sorry if the audio is a bit too quiet.
