It was cheery, pink, gorgeous, and affordable!...But I couldn't:P It was limited time, and it had been pulled a year prior:((("Well, darn!" I thought. What do I do now?...I could, you know...still buy the album:3 It looks like something I'd keep for ever and ever and ever, even if I was huffing and puffing for my last breath of air as a geezer reminiscing on the good old dreams of living youthfully for an even longer period than "Forever and ever~!"If anything, it's like a small little capsule to break out whenever life gets hard. My escape from the suckage that the IRL Realm constantly gives me. My sanctuary that reinforces how cool life CAN be:333 (It also reminds me of a doctor friend I made through the album that, while I unfortunately lost down the road to my own errors, I still think fondly of their kindness to share their time with me.)For that, I treasure it like a second heart gifted by someone no longer with us.I even got the cool keychain and sticker that came with the CD!Now if only I can get my hands on the two extra songs that HMV sold as an extra, but I dunno if they've been dumped online:333 (Recochoku certainly doesn't have them. GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr....)Back to this, I made it my mission to translate every song on this album, even if they've been translated before (And boy has THIS number been done!), but I wanted to try it myself!!! MaiR - Semete, Aoku/せめて, 青く (English Translation Attempt) Malictory 2025-03-29 | "Youth is ever waiting, ever ours"---This was on my mind for too long since it's June 2024 release, and finally, one day recently, I got off the train getting home, and I uttered the first few lines of this translation that I just fashioned up out of the blue,and I knew. I had to translate this.Hoshino Mair, the Rock V Singer who has come quite a long ways since her start back in the late 10s!She's got two albums, one major record album, and even toured across Japan last year and made new friends:D How's that for growth?:DDDThere's so many fun songs and serious songs ranging from tune love to being a super star or even running! Running! Fast!!!I need to give a shot to many of them, but for now, let's talk about this tune:DSemete, Aoku~Of all the songs I've tried translating, this is probably the one with the easiest message to decipher: Musicians (Or even just people making their own creations) and the struggle they face to be heard will go through it, but triumph with the youthful energy they bear in the end. Or at the very least, they will ascend beyond doubt and reach their audience, amplifying their self-esteem to inspire future works and future people as well~And thus, the cycle continues~!Since Mair is a singer and DID do the lyrics for the song, it's only natural it should mainly be about musicians~! The unsung heroes of our eardrums~!Regarding the "AOKU" part, I believe it's taking the word "Blue" and turning it into an adverb~ And since "Blue" can be seen as being "Unripe" or "Inexperienced", I interpreted that as "Young", which fits with my interpretation of young people keeping on keeping on~!The melody is so...melancholy, but also very slash slash and hope!...HA! Slashslash? You can even bop the Wednesday Caterpillar on the nose and watch him crash out so hard, he experiences muscle atrophy enough to a point that we can pop it like a zit~!The explosion is so gross and large, we've gotta wash our face off~! Let's go find a good source of water to contaminate~!

(Trust me, I know.)As for the big guy at the end? He's the foreman, the one who rules over all the lumberjacks that ended up dying. You see, he needed friends on the other side, and since he didn't have family, he had to hold onto someone for eternity. He has workers, so that explains why things are the way they are~!With his defeat, Peaches not only stopped Bowwow's Plot a bit more, but we also freed a lot of really innocent people from being trapped with a possessive man, so that's two for two!

(IMAGINE! It's just like Tower of Anxiety again, but just a tad less masochistic!)But it looks like the ride's not finished when Rocket literally rolls a ball right into the contraption, earning him the respect of everyone involved, up to and including the staff that are now forever drilled within the credits zone of this silly little experience.Yowsers.
