UMKC’s Regnier Institute hosted the annual Regnier Venture Creation Challenge (RVCC) at the end of the 2022 Spring semester. The RVCC is a business plan and pitch competition for new startups. This year’s competition will award $93,000 in prizes. The James and Rae Block Kansas City Startup Awards Program contributed $25,000 to the first and second place finalists in the competition.
