Back in June of 2023, I originally started a script on a relatively hot topic at the time; Kenpachi vs Frieza. It had some pretty awesome ideas involved, and I wanted to use it to explain how BLEACH and Dragon Ball Z compared to one-another, as it's always a surprise to me how the two series are misrepresented or talked about, so I thought I could tackle it better than most. As time went on, the topic felt too niche, and honestly kind of random, so I switched it more towards Ichigo and Goku, the main characters. The idea of Ichigo going through the Dragon Ball Z gauntlet is always a topic of discussion, so instead of that; I went further with this, and just straight up compared Ichigo vs Goku, to show how far he can get against Son Goku's endless iterations, or if he can actually DEFEAT him. " Why Goku vs Ichigo Is FAR Closer Than You Think " - was then sat on for many many months, with the prospect of it potentially not even happening, as I had other video plans get in the way... then, in March, the passing of Akira Toriyama (Rest in Peace) took place. I felt that if I was going to take time away from YouTube, I had to return with somewhat of a "bang" by completing this video, and making it as best I could. Not only is this my longest normal piece of content, but something I feel encapsulates the most easy to digest scaling for both series. This is my personal tribute to the GOAT of anime and manga. Without Akira Toriyama, I wouldn't actually have this channel, and BLEACH doesn't even exist.

Clyde 2023-10-26 | Why Aizen vs Squad Zero Isn't Close (At All) - Ever since the conception of Sosuke Aizen in the story of BLEACH, his goals have been shrouded in mystery, with only bits and pieces being fed to us viewers as the years went by... One goal, however, was an obvious one: Aizen vs Squad Zero or " The Zero Division " - A group of 5 Shinigami, dedicated to reside in the Soul Palace above The Soul Society, cut off from the normal world. Here, they are stationed to protect The Soul King, a being who is so powerful, that it keeps the 3 major worlds of BLEACH together. Once Aizen's plans in Karakura Town were complete, he was no doubt going to face them, after creating The Oken. For him to rid the worlds of The Soul King, and essentially become God itself, he would have to defeat all of Squad Zero, one by one.
