The alpha demo includes 4 playable levels, 2 boss battles, and 1 extra level in Misty Lake. As with any alpha release, you're likely to encounter minor bugs, so please report them here in the comments or on our Discord channel. Unfortunately, controller support is currently missing in this demo, but I will be adding it in future updates. Overall, I'm happy with the product, and I hope you will be too. There were many challenging parts for me as solo developer with your support and feedback I managed to do it better everytime I showcased project. I specifically chose to share this a week before Sonic's birthday and on my own birthday :D As you'll notice from the preview, Sonic is a bit faster and the combat is a bit sharper now. This will be the last preview before Soul Surge, and after that we'll see the reforged version of the game's most crucial mechanic. I thought about how it would be if I put section 1 of Windmill Isle Act 2 from the Sonic Unleashed Wii version into Sonic and the Black Knight, and I think it turned out not bad. I wanted to share this interesting idea with you :D Of course, I don't plan on including this section in the demo or the full game. Shadow Shoot was a game I enjoyed playing as a kid, and I wanted to remake it with beautiful graphics, new story elements, and an online leaderboard. The game also features a free-run mode, so you can continue playing after the story mode is over and compete on the leaderboard. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did making it. I hope you enjoy it. This part is very special to me because I've been dreaming of this boss fight ever since I first played Sonic and the Black Knight as a kid. I managed to translate my vision into the game as best I could, but of course, it could be much better. I hope I can make everything even better in the future stages of the project.
