The positive feedback from my last remix put me in the mood, and I really wanted to do this one again.The older version was made many years ago, and I'm not too fond of how it is now, the timing is all messed up and it really wasn't following the remix it was based on. This one is much better, the correct freestyles have been implemented for one. In fact, as soon as this one premieres I am hiding the older version, the only reason why it was still public was because it was popular.I followed the first version in regards to the scenes used, as well as the original remix that it was based on, but I also replaced a few of the scenes with some new scenes that were used in newer Sparta Remixes and a few scenes that I've missed the first time. I am now satisfied with how this turned out.Fun fact, the first version was originally going to use an entirely different base, and had already been on the pipeline for months before I decided to use the Aria base. Poetic Thrill 2018-07-02 | So I was watching GermanPeter the other day, specifically his recent video about how the TF2 community is "dying", and I realised that many of the points he makes can be applied to this community as well. I've been around for most of the 10+ years of this whole thing, and I'm probably one of the only few relics of that time (there's me, Tomiato64, maybe Jario, and possibly KingSpartaX37). Back in the late 2000s I remember there being plenty of experimentation with things like freestyles and unique sources, but nowadays people just care about pitch shifting and whatever base is hot right now.The point that I'm making here is that when I apparently deviate from the norm and try using a different source I don't get noticed whatsoever, but when I just do what everyone else is doing I get thousands of views.Duly noted. It's funny, really, 12-year old me would never think I'd ever be into it. And it's all YOUR fault. Trust me, when you've been in certain fandoms as long as I have, you tend to know things.Wanted to use this base for some time now, the intro fits perfectly with this episode.Really satisfied with the pitches in this one, lots of samples I could use. (And I know someone's gonna tell me the pitch is off.) Got a little lazy on the second half, that was only because there was only one awesomeness segment, like in the Aria base.Also, Vegas is literally the only thing that doesn't work properly in Windows 10. I don't know if I need more RAM or if I need a SSD (considering getting both), but I spent two days rendering this video. Vegas would crash halfway through the process. Like, literally crash, the Windows error message popped up instead of Vegas's. Which is funny since Vegas works just fine in Windows 8. I tried rendering to MP4 and WMV several times, and I even tried rendering in chunks. Every time either the program would hang or the video would come out wrong. Eventually when I tried rendering to AVI it did it first try. Poetic Thrill 2015-12-31 | Gonna upload this one ahead of time (thank goodness for scheduled uploads), gonna try and see if I can get my computer back to normal before the end of the week. I took the entire first half of December getting this thing to just render, every time there was always something wrong. I even missed lunch once. But it was worth it to get it out in HD.Anyway, I was postponing posting this one for a couple of reasons: 1. I was trying to see if I could get another video done by now (spoiler alert: I didn't) and 2: I got a lot of new pitch patterns for this one, including a much better Awesomeness 2 pitch. Nope: two more Barbie movies. Again.But hey, the movie's playing when this goes up, so I'm more than happy I waited two more weeks and finished the year with it. Time to fix that.This was actually pretty easy to do, it didn't sound good at first but in the end it sounds great.That one section near the beginning was extremely easy to set up, when you lived around these parts as long as I have you tend to know how people talk, especially teens and young adults.I think I got the timing of these freestyles down, so that's good I guess.More lazy visuals because the source isn't widescreen.
