This was a 5 hours constant edit, which isn't much time considering how long I usually take on my videos. In this block, I decided the song was too good to just have a small part edited so asked my friend Assaf if he'd like to team up for a collab on this song. So, we edited an equal amount each until it was completed! I'm aware this isn't my best video going, but I honestly just enjoyed editing it and having fun really. For some reason this badass project file took nearly 4 hours to render, no idea why but apparently it hated me :(.. As a general the narrative is just about the group collectively! I'm sorry for being pretty inactive in comparison to how I usually am, but sadly that is what university life is like - gogogogo. So I don't have that much time for editing anymore, which is super sad for me. Since it's Saturday, I'm feeling really down and poop today, as well as none of my flatmates being here, I made the third MEP part in this collection. The first one isn't very recent, infact it was for a birthday MEP that was meant to be uploaded over a month ago, however never was so whatever I'm uploading it now. I actually pretty liked how the Witchcraft part came out, it was fresh, upbeat and fast. Moving onto my War part, which I hate - I really didn't have the time to edit properly so it's extremely lazy, however I attempted to show some narrative. Overall, really dislike that part though. The last part, is one as I said earlier, something I made only a few hours ago after needing to make it for weeks now. As a studio, it's important for us to be able to edit with a wide range of audio, hence the very different change of genre in this MEP compared to previous ones. The aim was to try to avoid Aelita's past as it would too highly overused in this, but amazingly everyone managed to do different things! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I do apologise for the shitty intro and outro, I didn't have time to make something AMAZING. Only a few left until my life changes. I'm trying so hard to keep it together and get ready for it.. But I don't really know how, I'm physically prepared but not mentally. I'm going to have to interact with so many new people and I hate meeting new people. REALLY. HATE IT. I can be so socially awkward even though I try my best, I just hope I can push through my fear. Then there's the leaving behind of my family, I know they're only close and not far away.. But just physically not being able to wake up in the morning, go downstairs and hug my Dad is just going to be horrible for me. I will be completely alone. Even though I won't be, but that's even worse. I'll be surrounded by people and probably feel so lonely. So yes, that's my emotional rant about life. Elements「SPE」 AelitaHopp3r 2013-08-31 | "I'm young, so what?"WATCH IN HD!----Editor Information:Studio Project Evolution's official fifth MEP! This has been an extremely stressful MEP for me to host, amazing as the parts are - the voiceovers really annoyed me when it came to audio levels. After hours of going through it and refining it, I managed to make it all level - you may hear random noises which are apart of the background noise that comes from the original voiceover clips, this isn't an issue with the audio. I'm truly amazed at how many ways the studio has represented passion, the term is broad and can be taken in so many ways. From relationships to friendships, this MEP is has a wide variety! This is the studio's first instrumental song choice, so the voiceovers really shine through showing greater meaning and emotion, as well as narrative. Sadly our newest member didn't present their part to me, so is no longer with the studio. I had to create a replacement part within a few hours so my apologies for the shitness compared to my normal standards. Although this, you guys now have an opportunity to join us! After a battle with vegas to render this in the correct settings, mine and Noelia's collab is here! I originally was going to use this song, just for a video by myself but after Noelia asked to do a collab, I decided to put our joint effort in to complete a full length video! Although mine and Noelia's style can often seem very similar, I love how differently our parts turned out - mine is much more soft and hers is darker + sharp. I'm pleased with the end result even though I feel it could of been improved in some ways, but I couldn't quite grasp what parts needed to be improved, just felt it did. CONFUSING. I used quite a lot of blue colouring with soft blue wash overlays to create a very sentimental part as I felt the song is very touching and filled with emotion. I focused mainly on the relationship between Aelita and her mother for my part, as felt it connected better than with Franz. I'm really happy with the end episodes of CLE, as it has some brilliant Aelita and mother moments within them - made me feel so emotionally while watching it in places. I really hope they consider doing another series! After all the trouble I've been through with this collab, I really hope you guys enjoy it! This was so nice to edit and make, it almost just made itself. After working on my last video; bombshell blonde, this was so calm and relaxing to make - the song fitted so well, barely any thought was required to make this video due to this reason. I'd forgot how lovely it is to find a medium speeded song that matched Code Lyoko. Assaf is the perfect person to make a collab with, he makes his parts quick and matches wonderfully. I started this originally after watching a video project by DigiDisasterStudios which gave me the idea for using the song for Laura and a bit of Sissi. Based around mainly the jealousy between Aelita and Laura, it's pretty obvious though throughout the video. This project has an insane about of layers, my Vegas was having a bad time handling with it and so was I - it's a miracle that I managed to even render this, not to mention it took like 2 hours to render sdfkjasiogjakoad. Waterfall「SPE」 AelitaHopp3r 2013-07-21 | "I'd rather be a comma, than a full stop."WATCH IN HD!---The fourth official Studio Project Evolution MEP, using a song suggested by assafmarty! Although wanting to use the original version of this song, it was copyrighted so assaf and I decided on this remix. A lot of the song was instrumental and I felt it would be unfair on people's part if they had no lyrics at all. Due to this reason, I decided to make this MEP only about 2 minutes long. Also due to the fact I'm going on holiday tomorrow, we all had less time than usual to give in our parts, so short parts were more suitable. Although this, I think everyone did AMAZING on this MEP and I love everyone's parts so much - you've all came so far from our from first MEP together! We've recently lost two of my members xShadowAelita and shyrocker123 - I would like to say thank you to them for taking part during first three MEP's and for their hard work! They shall be missed. Hummingbird「SPE」 AelitaHopp3r 2013-07-02 | "when i go near you fly away."WATCH IN HD! ----Editor Information: The third official Project Evolution MEP, completed by the whole entirety of the studio (yay). This was a very smooth production and everybody seemed to have no issues with the song! I've had some internet issues over the past few weeks and it's finally fixed so I spent the morning rendering this bad boy and now it's gunna' take a good 2 hours to upload (DAMN YOU HD!). . The theme was based around couples and pairings - there is A LOT of different combinations and I love how different everyone's parts are. Everyone attempts to use as many different couples as possible and even ones we don't even think about, I think a prime example would be xOddTiger13's part with Ulrich and Odd as well as xCartoonCarro's part use using Ulrich and Sissi. The song was chosen by AelitaDiAgostino after she suggested it and I jumped upon it as I love Alex Clare - I think it works very well couplings like Odd and Aelita, but wanted to give a different spin to it. I had quite a few issues with some of the people taking part this time, which is sad since last time it went so well :(.. Shyrocker123 sadly couldn't take part due to exams/studies, so my good friend AelitaFleur was kind enough to fill in for her! I had to fill-in for a last minute (literally last night) drop-out from xShadowAelita due to her having trouble with clips etc. We hope to see the whole team back in the game for the next MEP though! The idea of this MEP was to go wild with fun and quirkiness! There's a wide range of characters, I loved xCartoonCarro's choice, it was really original and I haven't seen those two in a video for years. For my fill-in part I used Jeremy as well in an episode where Jeremy recreates himself and "adds" things to himself to improve himself - however this makes him cocky and I find it really funny. This song fits Odd perfectly as well, as seen with a few parts, however fits the whole group as well which was a keen main theme throughout. This is my favourite out of the 3 MEP's we've made together, I just love it guys. I don't feel like I can do my final major project for my course, which if I don't pass I can't go to uni in September. I'm so scared of the thought of leaving home, even though I know it will be good for me. But what if I fail? What if I don't like it? My family have this illusion in there heads that I am okay, and everything will be fine, I'm all up to date, but that's my own fault for making them feel that way and it's just gunna' hit twice as hard when I fail. I have no idea where I stand with my "boyfriend", I use the term loosely as I don't even know what is going on between us, whether we're together or seriously just not together anymore. I'm a shitty girlfriend that has the emotional capacity of a snail. Honest don't even feel like I'm made for relationships, that's not even me joking, I really don't think I am. I'm just not a nice person to be with and it's pretty obvious from my experiences. People are happier when away from me, but then I'm left here in a pit of my own loneliness, letting fuck all people into my life. When do you choose your own happiness over someone else's? (Scam haven) AelitaHopp3r 2013-05-15 | EXPLOITING THE FLAWS WITHIN GUMTREE.COM.My Dad is a professional photographer with his own photography business and needed a spare body + lenses for his work. After seeing gumtree being widely advertised on the tv and online, he decided to make a purchase after finding many good deals. The mobile calls with the seller were pleasant and everything appeared to be legit. After waiting for some time, no package arrived from the seller. Phone calls with the seller assured my dad that his wife had sent the package and he could get it. Although this, after requesting details of the tracking number, my dad could no longer get in contact with the man and his phone has be turned off ever since. Quickly contacting the police to submit a small claims report, then the bank to see if they could do anything, no help was given. This case is among thousands of other claims and they will never be dealt with due to there relatively "low" value. My dad "bought" the body + lenses for £500, to open a real case, your own solicitor and court dealings would cost well over what it's even worth, hence why scammers are confident in this area of scamming. Gumtree claim no responsibility for the actions of the sellers on their site due to the simple fact they have nothing to do with the transaction, this is pathetic and makes their whole site unreliable for even small purchases as well as large. The site is almost provoking people to get themselves into crime for the wealth behind it is massive. DON'T GET MUGGED, DON'T GET SCAMMED, DON'T BUY FROM GUMTREE. When my boyfriend was over last week one of my favourite movies was on tv (which I can't name due to copyright) and I love this scene, it's so stunning the way she says it and pours her heart out. I've been in that situation that she describes and she just describes it perfectly. But, I'm fine now and I'm happy with my boyfriend. BACK TO MY BIRTHDAY, YAY. Although this, we want to make the studio more open to the public for them to have a chance to compete to join us, so we're looking for 4 new video makers within the CL community to join us.
