Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland Park travels underneath a large green space filled with towering trees, the winding tracks of Autopia and its Honda themed animatronics and scenery, the Disneyland Monorail as well as the defunct People Mover Tracks!
Opening in 1959 as Submarine Voyage the ride takes seven subs around a 463 meter long guide rail track. A large portion of the track is in a big pool and when on the ride simulates diving in shallow water. When the vehicles enter the underground tunnel portion of the ride, which is quite narrow in spots, it creates the illusion of diving to great depths beneath the water!

This news has us wondering—could the same fate await Disneyland? Could the Rivers of America in Anaheim also be drained and transformed into a Cars-themed wonderland? Join TC and Amy as they take a trip to Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island to share their thoughts and predictions on this possibility. They’ll explore the potential impacts on Disneyland’s beloved Frontierland, what it might mean for the park’s atmosphere, and whether these changes align with Walt Disney’s original vision.
So, grab your explorer's hat and let's paddle over to the island to discuss the future of Disneyland’s Rivers of America! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and let us know your thoughts in the comments. Could you imagine cruising Route 66 instead of sailing the rivers of the Old West?
Sorry for the scratchy mic! We are on the road and need to step up our portable mic game!!
