DinnerBones2242 Following up with GX from my 5ds video, i decided it was best to do GX just want to go into details with this upscale attempt ill post this in the comments section as well

the best quality of the original opening is 480p, which is around the bare minimum for a decent upscale, you can do 360p or lower but it gets worse as the details get lost that you see at the lower resolutions and it just looks a mess and weird upscaled

this opening suffers from this a bit when upscaled in some scenes and there isn't much i can do about that as the highest quality version publicly available is 480p if anyone has a higher quality please share

however when researching for the opening i did come across the fact GX (Japanese) had blu ray releases with 1080p as the best quality possible
the Japanese opening is different from the English one

So in theory i could reconstruct the opening with scenes from the Japanese release and the English (upscaled) get the best possible quality possible
if this is something people would like me to do let me know

This is probably the most challenging upscale i've had to do not to get the video but to merge the audio with the video as they're two serpates files in the game

this is mainly cause of the fact the audio is high quality at least 1500kbps

and there is no viable container that can play back a video and high quality audio without being largely too big (.mov)

and the fact the audio is offset at the start so it doesn't perfectly lineup so that took awhile to line up to made sure it matched perfectly

i plan on releasing the original files to this at some point with the high quality audio and the youtube audio

as the upload which you're watching right now audio is 256kbps as that is youtube's max audio bitrate

so keep an eye out for the original file in a few weeks :)

DinnerBones2242 2022-04-11 | So i was browsing about twitter as per usual and i came across that someone had preloaded advance wars before nintendo pulled from my understanding, they've been posting clips about and i saw this clip of max activating his power so i decided to lookup on youtube and see if anyone else had uploaded and there was one clip of this but the quality is really bad

likely they just recorded the clip without downloading it as the quality changes throughout the video and lies by saying its "1080p 60fps" when in reality the original clip is 30fps at 720p with twitter compression

so this is my attempt at upscaling that clip from twitter at 4K

DinnerBones2242 2022-01-19 | so i decided to put Ranon's cover of Zankyosanka onto Demon Slayer Opening 2 as no one seems to have done it yet (more below)

so you're probably wondering why is there a bunch of faded pictures in the background they're other ones on youtube that don't have th- well basically those are slowed down or have weird warping to get around Aniplex and i was watching it felt so off putting so i decided to upload this at the original framerate / speed

this was mostly just splitting audio which was straight forward, adding into a
few fades on the opening itself, Raon herself matches the original opening pace amazingly well

DinnerBones2242 2021-02-27 | I was browsing about the web as per usually and i came across a interesting comment on the Wipeout Pure saying it would be nice to see it in a higher quality than 360p (yes i know there is a 720p version on youtube but it isnt true native its just basically the 360p video but put in 720p and it isnt clear and sharp as this) but anyway this is the whole point of this to fullfill this comment i may render this in 1080p in the future idk we'll see if i have time

Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld Opening 2 (Cover Shawn Christmas)

DinnerBones2242 2020-08-19 | so i decided to put Shawn Christmas's cover of ANIMA onto SAO War of Underworld OP 2 this was kinda tricky / not as the cover was the full version which is different from the short ver (OP) so i had to do some video / audio editing for this to work

from 0 seconds in the video until 49.39 seconds the video is speeded up by 1.035x
from 49.39 seconds until 1 minute and 16.22 seconds the video is slowed down by 0.050x
from 1:16 until the end of the video is normal speed

there is a crossfade between 1:16 and 1:17 in the video in terms of audio
