Creating Sparkle Girls filler for Operation Christmas Child Scrap Val U 2025-05-20 | I used a Cinch thermal binding machine to make these cute fairy mini notepads. I used Echo Park Fairy Garden paper collection. The pink mini notepads are from Dollar Tree (3 in a pack)I added them to an organza bag with the Sparkle Girl Doll (Walgreens Clearance a couple weeks ago! Your Walgreens may still have them - price is unmarked. $1.19)I also added a cute pen from Dollar Tree to go with the sparkly fairy theme of the filler bag.I used organza bags - white wine size purchased from Amazon. Packing Fun Filler for OCC Processing Centers! Scrap Val U 2025-03-29 | I decided to do it. I am parting with these Teeny Ty Beanie Babies that I have saved for decades! They make such adorable filler packs. What is filler for Operation Christmas Child? Well, pretty much anything you pack in a shoebox can be sent to Processing Centers as filler. Filler is used by the volunteers inspecting the shoeboxes to fill up the boxes that aren’t quite full or to replace items that have to be taken out of the shoeboxes because they are not allowed (glass, food, candy, toothpaste, gum, soap, liquids, military related items, toys that look like real guns, camouflage items, scary items, medicinal items, used items). The filler can be packed in a larger box marked on outside as “Filler” and dropped off at the same place as shoeboxes are dropped off. Hobby Lobby 90% off Christmas clearance - items for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and filler Scrap Val U 2025-01-03 | Sorry to post this the day after shopping - my hubby and I have been recuperating this week from having the norovirus. (I read it’s also called the winter vomiting sickness - oh boy!) It was awful! Worst sickness I have ever had in my life! I started feeling better yesterday and managed to shop a little. Much better today! Stay healthy friends. It’s running rampant through St Louis area and may be spreading. Take some Clorox wipes with you when shopping to clean your cart and hands after touching things. Hand sanitizer won’t kill the virus. We picked up this nasty bug after my hubby visited his mom in her assisted living facility- unbeknownst to us the place had been overrun with the virus and it’s very contagious! 😷 🧤 🤮🤢💩
