But for purity, I don't allow myself to do any quarter slice turns either. Doesn't feel like the true spirit of 3x3x2 lol. 2 Mistakes off of World Record! 60/64 Official Multi-Blind with Full-Floating Graham Siggins 2024-03-14 | 4th best official attempt ever! And my best official result since the current WR, and with full-floating :) and considering my last two official MBLDs before this were both 50 points, that makes a nice little 52.00 points mean of 3. Not too shabby!World record/60+ points feels like just a matter of attempts at this point. Two of these DNFs were from messing up one alg, and one of them was off by 2 twisted corners, likely either a tracing mistake or from recalling one wrong letter somewhere. Memo was way slower than I hoped for and I was sure that I wouldn't sub hour. Was expecting the shoulder tap with like 3 cubes left, maybe more lol. Always a weird feeling sub-houring after those kind of expectations.I really feel WR capable again finally. The full floating grind, with a unique letter pair list for every buffer, was brutal. An obscure case that most people wouldn't do, but I actually recently learned this obscure case for MBLD full floating, which requires UF-UR swap for all floating corner parities lol. Feels good to still never have lost MBLD at a nationals :)The last year of MBLD has been a little rough, learning full floating and a new letter pair list for every floating buffer (and UF-UF+2c parity and UF-UR-x-y 2e2es lmao). This turned out to be a lot harder to get used to than I originally expected/hoped, but I finally feel like after a year of creating the lists, learning the lists, and grinding out actual practice with all of it, I might be back to the skill level I had before it all. My accuracy overall might be lacking a tad, but I actually feel like I'm finally capable of beating my WR again.Second attempt was 49/64 in 1:00:00, mid 40:xy memo that I felt pretty confident with throughout it. Had 2 DNFs in the first 32 executed and then just fell apart trying to recall the last 32. Gonna chalk it up to nerves and stress, as the final review of 1-32 felt really solid at the time of doing it.
