Said VR headset is a Windows Mixed Reality and turns out you can't just hold them vertical to aim, you need to hold them about 45 degrees instead and I learned that the hard way.

Spyro the Dragon - Sync & Swap (Bizhawk Shuffler plug-in *prototype*) Dessert Monkey 2022-07-01 | Sometimes you have to pay a bear across timelines.Don't think about it too hard.Github repo: github.com/dessertmonkeyjk/Spyro-Shuffler-Plugin---Believe it or not, I made this one. Bizhawk shuffler is for, well, the Bizhawk emulator. Normally it just swaps games based on a timer but it can also use plug-ins to determine what triggers a swap and what happens during it.I wrote a plug-in that swaps based on what gem value gets picked up. It also syncs the gem total across multiple games at once. Note that this is just a very quick and dirty prototype and it has some issues still (swaps pre-maturely when a game is first loaded without picking up anything, gem value can go negative, not fully tested with other game versions, etc.) ...can't believe I keep finding reasons to keep coming back to these games it never ends
