Synopsis:

Vo Williams' "Never. Count. US. Out." is an electrifying anthem for those who've been doubted, overlooked, and underrated. With its inspiring lyrics and indomitable energy, this song empowers listeners to stand up against adversity and fight for their place in history.

Drawing on personal experiences and historical moments, Williams resonates with Champions whom are still left out of the talks about the Greatest, Overlooked, and Legacies held down. Vo conveys triumph over adversity through vivid imagery: "My fist is all full of rings / My knuckles are scared and bruised / We challenged the way you dream / These hands’ve made mountains move." Epilogue -
When Danny and I began our session on this track our question was what was Beethoven going through in the moment? The story (that of which I will try to keep short here) gave us chills. We wanted to find ourselves in that story, so that we could offer you all a piece of work from which you might find your own selves in.

Brief backstory -

Beethoven was heavily doubted. He was seen as almost mentally ill as he roamed around humming the making of Symphony 9. But his vision was clear within his own mind.

He was deaf at the time, and had written a piece of music that would revolutionize all music thereafter.

Beethoven premiered Symphony 9 and conducted without the ability to even hear the result of his direction. But again, he knew his music and his vision was clear in his own mind.

When he finished conducting, he could not even hear the crowd roaring in jubilation and applause behind him. It wasn’t until he turned around to see the audience going wild, that he knew he’d achieved GREATNESS!

Symphony 9 is now considered one of Beethoven’s greatest works.

Sometimes we all have a wild dream in our own minds, a vision that is so clear to us, that plays its melody to us day and night. And sometimes no one else can hear it, see it, feel or understand it. Faith, commitment and consistency is key.

Almost everything and everyone that we consider great now, was once considered a fool with an unrealistic dream. Let’s be Great!

I've recently had the opportunity to collaborate with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lighting, on what I can only fail to describe as an EPIC show.

As one of the pioneers of Epic Hip Hop, it has always been my passion to create a type of hip hop that is larger than life. A hip hop sound with scale, size, power, vivid emotional tonality, energy and impact.

Anthem is a celebration of the process, and long journey to success. This song takes me back to the beginning, the struggle, and reminds me of my darkest most limiting hours. When I listen to Anthem I feel so much joy and relief crashing into those memories.
