62 people were injured after a Light Rail Transit train derailed in Hong Kong today.
The accident happened as the train was negotiating a turn, and then moved off the tracks, according to local media reports.
Hong Kong broadcaster ATV showed pictures of emergency crews carrying injured passengers off the train, some on stretchers, and treating people on the scene.

"When it crashed the train flipped on its side. The chair in front of me crushed me," a woman told ATV.

"The bend is very sharp. The train almost flipped on its side. I was standing to one side in the carriage."
The accident damaged overhead cables, train carriages and tracks.
According to reports, at least four people were seriously injured and taken to hospital, but most suffered minor injuries.

"People were all crushed together. The train was really full. It was very chaotic with people screaming and many bleeding, including my brother (behind me."
Police say they are investigating the cause of the accident.
