Mega Man 11 Achievement/Trophy Guide — 3 Medal Achievements

Roless Gaming 2018-10-01 | Built to Win (10G/Bronze) — Get Bronze Rank or higher five times.

Tuned for Performance (10G/Bronze) — Get Silver Rank or higher five times.

Programmed for Perfection (30G/Silver) — Get Gold Rank five times.

These three achievements/trophies can be earned really quickly in the Playground. Beating the game helps so you have your special weapons unlocked. (You may be able to get by with only having beaten that boss, but I didn't check this mode until after beating the game, so I can't confirm).

I found this really easy on the mid-boss stages. I detail my strategies for them in the video. Just follow along and you should be able to get gold medals in all of them easily. Getting a gold also earns you the silver and bronze medals, making all three achievements/trophies pop at the same time!

Mega Man 11 Achievement/Trophy Guide — Demolition Man and Fight Acid With Acid

Fight Acid With Acid (15G/Bronze) — [Acid Man Stage] Enter a green acid pool using Acid Barrier. (Excludes Challenge Mode)

***Sorry for the unclear explanation of Demolition Man. It was totally my fault, as I was a bit unclear on the achievement details when I stated recording. I've provided a clearer explanation below!***

Note: You cannot do these in Challenge Mode. These must be done in the main story mode, either before or after finishing the game!

For Demolition Man, you'll want to have defeated Blast Man to obtain his weapon. Enter Block Man's stage and progress until you get to the "chase" section with the rotating spike tower behind you. When the giant stone wall drops, launch a chain blast at it, and dentonate it. It should destroy the wall, earning you the achievement/trophy. At minimum, two bombs will work, but I never tried with one.

For Fight Acid With Acid, you'll need to have completed Acid Man's stage to earn the Acid Barrier weapon. Re-enter the stage and right at the beginning, use activate the shield. Jump into the green acid beneath you for a quick and easy achievement/trophy.

Mega Man 11 Achievement/Trophy Guide — Playtimes Over and Three Birds, One Stone

Roless Gaming 2018-10-01 | Playtime's Over (30G/Silver) — [Bounce Man Stage] Destroy all balloon enemies once and reach the boss. (Excludes Challenge Mode)

Three Birds, One Stone (10G/Bronze) — Defeat three or more enemies with one charge shot.

Note: You cannot do Playtime's Over in Challenge Mode. These must be done in the main story mode, either before or after finishing the game!

On Bounce Man's stage, destroy all the balloon enemies. I'm not sure if this is referring to all the balloons or just the enemies that hang underneath, so pop all the balloons just in case! You can do this either post-game when you have more powerups or right from the get go. If doing on a fresh file, I recommend Newcomer difficulty, just for the ease of progression.

I also accidentally get Three Birds, One Stone, but this one is self-explanatory.

Mega Man 11 Achievement/Trophy Guide — 4 Quick Achievements

Roless Gaming 2018-10-01 | Bullseye! (10G/Bronze) — Defeat a Mawaru C using your Mega Buster without Speed Gear.

Catch ‘Em Off Guard (10G/Bronze) — Destroy a Sniper Joe piloting a Sniper Armor D.

Better You Than Me (5G/Bronze) — Destroy a Mini Shpider using an acid pool, BBQ grill, or other environmental hazard.

Firing at Max Power (10G/Bronze) — Defeat an enemy using the Final Charge Shot.

These three achievements/trophies can be earned quickly across three stages. You can do these on any difficulty, but Newcomer is recommended just for the ease at which enemies die.

First, we’ll be going for Bullseye! Jump into Block Man’s stage and proceed as normal, until you find an enemy approaching you in a gear. Without using the Speed Gear, shoot the enemy inside and kill him. These enemies are everywhere in the game, so finding one shouldn’t be a problem.

Next, we’re going to Blast Man’s stage. Proceed through the stage until you see a Sniper Joe (green hooed guy) ina purple mech. You can kill the mech separately from the Sniper Joe, but for this achievement, you’ll want to shoot only the Sniper Joe. Killing him will destroy the mech as well as earn you the achievement. Again, this enemy is everywhere in the game, so if you miss it here, you’ll have plenty of chances.

Lastly, we’ll get Better You Than Me and Firing at Max Power. Load up Acid Man’s stage to get these quickly. For better you than me, kill the spiders so that they spawn Mini Shpiders. Guide one into the green acid beneath you, killing it and earning an achievement.

While you’re here, take enough damage so that the large gear under your health meter lights up. This is the signal that Double Gear is ready. Double Gear allows you to activate both your Power and Speed Gears simultaneously, when normally you can only use one at a time. Press both bumpers (or whatever you have it mapped to) to activate the Double Gear technique. While in this mode, simply kill an enemy.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection Achievement/Trophy Guide - 3 Boss Achievements in Mega Man X2

0:00 Half the Sponge He Used to Be (5 G/Bronze Trophy) — Cut Wire Sponge in half in Mega Man X2.

2:47 Take Your Time (10 G/Bronze Trophy) — Watch Morph Moth's metamorphosis in Mega Man X2 without interfering.

5:21 Dodge This (10 G/Bronze Trophy) — Use Giga Crush to score the final hit against any of the eight Maverick bosses in Mega Man X2.

Half the Sponge He Used to Be is super easy to get. All you have to do is defeat Wire Sponge (either in-stage or re-fight) with his weakness (the Sonic Splitter) which you get form defeating Overdrive Ostrich. It doesn't matter what you damage him with during the fight, but the last shot has to come from the Sonic Splitter.

Take Your Time can be gotten either in Morph Moth's stage, or in his re-fight. Instead of damaging his first form, let Morph Moth perform his radial garbage collection attack and grow. Eventually, he will grow too big and transform into the second phase of the fight. If you aren't good at this fight, I recommend subtanks and/or the Body armor and/or Rookie Hunter mode.

Dodge This can be done on any Maverick stage or in any Maverick re-fight, provided you have the Body upgrade from Morph Moth's stage. First, you'll want to charge the Giga Crush by taking projectile damage (and specifically projectile damage). Then, go into an easy Maverick fight (I like Crystal Snail, though Magna Centipede would be good as well) and bring the boss down to a few health points (like 2 or 3). Then, when the boss is vulnerable, unleash the Giga Crush. It should do enough damage to kill the boss, earning you the achievement/trophy.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection Achievement/Trophy Guide - Friendly Neighborhood Mega Man

Roless Gaming 2018-07-31 | Friendly Neighborhood Mega Man (5 G/Bronze Trophy) — Use Silk Shot to grab an item in Mega Man X2.

Note: Sorry about the random edits and such. Not sure why it worked on one account and not the other!

I know of two places you could get this. The first is in Crystal Snail's stage. Get to the part where you trigger a big green crystal sliding down from right to left. You should see a ladder that takes you to a seemingly pointless room. (There will be a lot of bats, so you'll know when you get there.) Charge up the Silk Shot in that room and you'll get a bunch of large weapon refills.

My favorite place to do this though, as shown in the video, is in Bubble Crab's stage. Proceed through the stage as normal until you get to the giant red door that the robot fish has to open.

Once this door opens, hug the left wall and you'll find a secret room towards the top of the structure (you can partly see it from above it). Again, the room you'll find yourself in will be empty. Charge your Silk Shot here and instead of forming the weapon, it will pull in 8 large health refills, and at no cost of Silk Shot ammo! Do this 3-4 times and it will completely fill all four subtanks, making this method an easy place to farm health for the X-Hunter stages!

Mega Man X Legacy Collection Achievement/Trophy Guide - Never Hearts to Be Careful

Roless Gaming 2018-07-27 | Never Hearts to Be Careful (30 G/Bronze Trophy) - Obtain all Heart Tanks and max out X's energy gauge in Mega Man X.

You could get this one through normal play by following a 100% guide, but this is an easy way to get the achievement by abusing the password system.

Load up Mega Man X and enter the following password: 3872 2147 5614. This gives you 7 of the 8 health upgrades, 2 subtanks, and the leg and body armor upgrades. Go into Storm Eagle's stage and ride the elevators up to the top. Dash jump to the left and you should land on top of the building you started at. On the roof of this building is the health upgrade. Pick it up and the achievement/trophy is yours.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection Achievement/Trophy Guide - Re-Armed

Roless Gaming 2018-07-27 | Re-Armed (20 G/Bronze Trophy) - Receive Zero's arm part in Mega Man X.

You obtain Zero's buster by defeating Vile in Sigma 1 without previously having collected the arm upgrade. It is therefore entirely possible to get through normal play, but by abusing the password system, we can shortcut to the achievement.

Load up Mega Man X and enter the following password: 8447 6686 4126. This will put you right before Sigma 1, with all heart upgrades, 3 subtanks, and the helmet, body, and leg armor upgrades.

Proceed through Sigma 1 until the Vile fight. The first part of this fight is a scripted loss, just as the opening stage is. After a brief heroic moment by Zero, the real fight starts. Use Rolling Shield to defeat Vile quickly. During the following cutscene, Zero gives you his buster, unlocking this achievement/trophy.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection Achievement/Trophy Guide - First Armor

You could get this one through normal play by following a 100% guide, but this is an easy way to get the achievement by abusing the password system.

Load up Mega Man X and enter the following password: 8441 2336 2421. Then head into Chill Penguin's stage and proceed until you get to the Leg Capsule. Enter the capsule to get the upgrade, and voila, another achievement/trophy for your collection!

Mega Man X Legacy Collections Achievement/Trophy Guide - 4 Secret Achievements

Roless Gaming 2018-07-25 | Reconnaissance Complete/Another Day, Another Recon (15 G/Bronze Trophy) - View 20 images across all four titles, then change the wallpaper to the secret image.

Audio Signal Incoming/They've Hacked Our Comms (15 G/Bronze Trophy) - Listen to 10 tracks for long enough with the Music Player, and then listen to the secret track.

Note: If you're playing the first collection, the achievements/trophies are Reconnaissance Complete and Audio Signal Incoming. If you're playing the second, they're Another Day, Another Recon and They've Hacked Our Comms. This video shows how to get the achievements/trophies from the first collection, though it is the exact same process for the second.

To get the achievements/trophies, start by completing X Challenge mode. This will unlock the secret track and wallpaper you need for these achievements. I recommend to do this on Easy.
Once this mode is complete, go to the Museum from the Main Menu and go to the Music Player. Listen to 10 of your favorite songs across any of the soundtracks. The achievement mentions an unspecified length of time, so I'd recommend the stage tracks. Once this is done, go to the Collection soundtrack and go all the way to the last song, "Give It a Shot (Extended)." Play this track and the music achievement/trophy is yours.

For the wallpaper achievement/trophy, go to the Museum and go to Gallery. Look at any 20 images across all of the games in that collection. Then back out and load one of the games. Open the collection menu (not the individual game menu), and go to Wallpaper. Select "Special 1" and the achievement/trophy should pop!

MM X Legacy Col. Achievement/Trophy Guide - Hes Actually Called Vava and Curiouser and Curiouser

Roless Gaming 2018-07-24 | He's Actually Called Vava/Curiouser and Curiouser (20 G/Bronze Trophy) - Complete the opening stage of any game in both the English and Japanese versions.

Note: If you're playing the first collection, the achievement/trophy is He's Actually Called Vava. If you're playing the second, it's Curiouser and Curiouser. This video shows how to get He's Actually Called Vava, though it is the exact same process for Curiouser and Curiouser.

To get the achievements/trophies, pick your favorite game in the collection and play through the opening stage. Once you finish it, exit the game to the main menu. Highlight the same game and hit the button to switch game versions (X on Xbox One). You should have swapped to Japanese if you were on English, or English if you were on Japanese. Restart the game under the new version and complete the opening stage again. Once you do, the achievement is yours!

X Challenge is the new mode in which you fight two bosses at the same time. To get this trophy/achievement, play on Easy. I'd recommend picking a stage you know well (1-1 is a good choice, IMO), choose Fire Wave as a weapon (others don't matter) and start the fight. A charged Fire Wave is your best friend here, as it make it easy to hit both bosses at least once each. On Easy, you can tank a lot of damage, so don't worry about dodging too much. Complete the stage with over 9 minutes left on the timer to unlock the achievement/trophy.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Achievement/Trophy Guide - Identity Erased and Defrag Complete

Note: If you're playing the first collection, the achievement/trophy is Identity Erased. If you're playing the second, it's Defrag Complete. This video shows how to get Identity Erased, though it is the exact same process for Defrag Complete.

To get the achievements/trophies, either complete X Challenge mode and view the staff credits, or go to Options from the main menu and go to Credits. Charge up your blaster and fire it at the scrolling names. Destroy enough of them, and you'll eventually get a music note in the bottom left corner of the screen. Once you have this note, let the credits play out and the achievement/trophy is yours!
