But we've discovered that one of the most direct and exciting ways to connect with the CAMPFIRE VAUDEVILLE content is to see if performed live!With your help, we can take the next baby step: create "CAMPFIRE VAUDEVILLE: THE LIVE EXPERIENCE", a live show experience to play for 1-3 nights in Spring 2014 in Los Angeles, CAThis show would follow the story of THE GYPSY AND THE DREAMER, translating much of what is in the existing music videos to the stage, and adding the storytelling component of reading the folk tale aloud.The "performance" portion will run between 20-45 minutes long, with original music sung and played live, varieties of dance styles performed (the most prominent being the soft shoe/sand dancing seen in the existing videos), and video content shown to further the story along. The "experience" portion would include creating an atmosphere for attendees that transports them into the CAMPFIRE VAUDEVILLE WORLD: themed food & drink (campfire food, moonshine), custom seating (haystacks, barrels, logs), themed clothes for rental to dress up in (bowler hats, spats, suspenders, bow ties, skirts, vests), interactive audience participation components (sing along songs), a photo area where you can hold up props to take pictures with (a "WANTED SIGN" cut out, a banjo, a mustache, a bowler hat)We will sell the music on printed CDs at the show, along with custom CV merchandise (the CV cow brand logo as a stick-on tattoo, CV postcards)
