Once you find how easy it is to unbox and get started printing cost-saving factory floor solutions, you never go back. That's what happened with Ryan Wenzlick, Production Manager at Air & Liquid Systems Inc in Michigan. Ryan had zero knowledge of 3D printing or how to design for it, but knew Markforged's Mark Two's were known for aiding in factory floor operations.
After taking Markforged's simple and straightforward Markforged University, it gave him enough skills to find massive value out of Markforged's strong & reliable 3D printing solutions. Now Ryan says a culture change has taken over his company -- with staff constantly identifying possible applications to 3D print. "The possibilities are endless" says Ryan "us without Markforged is tough to think about."

Digital Source from Markforged is an on-demand parts platform enabling 3D printing of OEM-certified parts when and where they’re needed, without the cost or hassle of physical inventory. It enables Markforged users to create a digital warehouse that their customers can access to securely purchase licenses to print spare parts on demand. For BMF, it means eliminating long lead times and personnel strain while delighting their customers who can immediately print these critical parts locally and instantly.
Bernstein says Digital Source frees up staff time to focus on higher value-added tasks that can help grow the business. “Markforged offers a solution that works for both the customer and the manufacturer of parts. I think it has great potential and will establish itself as a revolutionary solution for many manufacturers.” - @bmfgmbh-bernsteinmechanisc2205

Vendors upload digital part designs to a digital warehouse, where they can sell print licenses to customers, distributors, and contract manufacturers. Digital Source users can purchase a license to 3D print parts themselves, or can access a network of vetted print services providers to 3D print parts on their behalf.
We’re delivering our promise of digital warehousing by integrating 3D printing software, materials and hardware with end-to-end process control. Vendors can specify and lock printing process requirements so that customers get manufacturer-certified parts on demand. Robust security safeguards digital part files, and encrypted print instructions are sent directly to printers to protect designs, allowing customers to just “Press Print”.

Michigan-based Tucker Induction Systems has been serving the induction industry for over 40 years -- from induction coils, bus bars, forging coils, quenches and more. But when a complicated Bridgeport job required over 200 loops and hundreds of setups, Tucker turned to Markforged for a better solution. Using a Mark Two™ and Markforged University, the easy-to-understand certification program that accelerates mastery of The Digital Forge technology, Josh was able to print successful parts that cut machine time down by half.
"I'm not an engineer, I'm a machinist. I use it every day."

Tony and the team at @sidus-space have spent the last four years working on LizzieSat, a partially 3D printed satellite that is set to launch on the SpaceX Transporter-9 rocket in 2023. Throughout the design and building process, Sidus found that at every turn, Markforged materials and parts met the rigorous standards required for space travel - from strength and traceability, to economy and speed.
Now, for the next five years after launch, Markforged parts will be orbiting our little blue dot.
